I've never seen the video, but I have read that he was able to do in back in WCW's Power Plant. I think that's where the footage is from. I don't believe he ever did it on TV.
would be cool to see the vid.

Its been mentioned here and once before that Hogan saw it and got mad which isnt true at all. Hogan was a big supporter of Giant and very good friends with him. The reason why he never used it is because Giant did the moonsault to the mat and Buddy Lee Parker said at his size he wasnt able to safely do it and protect the other wrestler from injury.

Hogan himself said it in his book that they took him out of the Power Plant before his training was finished because they wanted him to work like a 4oo pound wrestler, not a 200 pound which is what he was learning with various holds,moves,counter-moves,submissions,etc...Hogan just wanted him to do power moves and brawling.......

I swear I've seen some footage of this. I might be off my rocker but in the video you can see the entrance, he is on the right turnbuckle facing the crowd. Eh who knows. But their is a picture in my mind of him doing it, don't know where its from but somewhere.

He was able to in WCW, and while I'm not sure, I remember watching a video of him botching it on WCW TV.

I've read that he did it and Hogan got pissed off? I don't know if Hogan was involved but William Regal said a lot the locker room thought Show doing aerial moves was "the worst thing they had ever seen". This was on Show's new DVD. That had to mean some wrestlers/bookers with clout. I think Show could probably still do a moonsault. His size overshadows the fact that he's a better athlete than any of the 400+ pounders that came before him. His DVD also showed him working out (particularly on flexibility), getting better rest, and eating a better diet. He's much closer to his WCW abilities than he was 5 years ago.

Seeing the Tough Enough clip with Show.. Show looked huge. Very fat compared to what he used to be.

Seeing the Tough Enough clip with Show.. Show looked huge. Very fat compared to what he used to be. He's gained some weight back (although I wouldn't say "very fat") from his low point in 2008 but he's still much, much healthier and more able-bodied than 2006. They show clips of his ECW title run on the DVD. His face looked like a moon, he was gasping for air, and showing the effects several lingering injuries. Show stated that he didn't even work out back then. The new dedication to his health has extended his career and likely his life.
