so why didn't The Berzerker, The Orient Express, Sika and Kamala need American Spokespersons Kamala HAD one during his early 90's WWF run, manager Harvey Whippleman... Sika,with Afa as the Wild Samoans, also had Capt. Lou Albano as a manager,so he did all the talking....by the time of his singles run,though,he was a "loveable" character,so the craziness and broken english worked for him... Berzerker and Orient Express received little promo- interview time as it was,so none really needed there...and the non-talking added to the OE mystique,and Berzerker just "Huss"-ing all over the place added to the zaniness.... Yoko was the World Champ...there needed tto be some mic promo time going on there...i honeslty think Fuji ruined his shot at it with the horrible work he did at WM IX after the Hart match when he attempted to challenege Hogan,but 1/2 of what he said i couldn't understand...personally,i never understood why they didn't just let Yoko do promo's for himself , un less he was horrible too ..... don't forget,this was a time before all the writers and scripters were employed....wrestlers were given some points to make about their upcoming feud/match/ card , and they had to fill in the blanks....some guys thrived under this... some guys wilted.... |
