Yikes. You even included Warrior. That's worse than Luger. There is no way you will ever convince me that The Ultimate Warrior is not one of the 10 greatest of all time... When did this turn into a Luger, Warrior thread?

Well, threads like this have a way of taking a comparison and leading it off on a tangent. Although I think there is some validity in grouping those three guys together. Guys like Hogan, Inoki, Sammartino, Santo, Rikidozan, Flair, HBK, Undertaker, Cena...these are the guys that sucked the mainstream into wrestling. No, I don't like all of those guys but every one of them was a huge headlining draw for an extended period of time. Luger, Sting, Warrior all had moments of brilliance but they were usually the #2 or #3 guy in the company, so I can't put any of them in the top 10.

Yes.
Sadly since Stin Matches are very scarce to come across on DVD unless you dig really deep, I cant recall many matches but it doesnt take away from the fact that besides Undertaker, I'd think he has the next best gimmick. Its become him, to where he can do and say whatever, but as long as he's got that paint on and rocking some scorpions, then its okay because thats just Sting.
He's been dark and quiet, and dark yet animated. His character has so many different personalites it takes on. He just fails to grow stale in my eyes. Though i'll be honest i havent watched much of him in TNA, it kills me he refuses to go to WWE because I understand he made it without them, and thats an accolade I couldnt applaud him more for, but at the end of the day, WWE is the one who will keep your legacy going. Not TNA, not third party shoot companies, WWE puts you out there for fans to remember you with. Toys, games, video, the whole deal. Not going to WWe now is only hurting himself and his fans. Owen Hart is in that same boat (though I know its not his choice obviously...)

Sting was hugely over, was the face of the company for many years (even without needing the title) and also put on some of the most memorable matches. He's without a doubt one of the top 10 wrestlers of all time and certainly a first ballot hall of famer if there was an actual Hall of Fame worth mentioning lol This

The only thing they have on Sting is the majority of his career in their video library. He has appeared in many video games and has more action figures made than 99% of wrestlers out there.

He's probably the most legendary sports entertainer to have never worked for Vince McMahon. He's in the top ten all time in terms of contribution to wrestling and overall package-ness.
But as a wrestler he's probably not in the top ten. There's a LOOOOOOOONG line of incredible athletes from the past which belong in front of him.
But I love Sting to bits.
