I just didn't like the usage of Mankind. Him and the Rock had been tearing down the house for months. Then he just gets thrown into a throw away match against Big Show.

The genius behind the "Attitude" era was never Vince Russo, it was Vince Mcmahon, anyone who says differently is wrong.

Russo had to do something right for 's sake or he wouldn't have remained with the company for so long or have been hired after that. Vince's direction helped without a doubt, but be real here: Vince never was able to push his product to the level it was at until Russo was brought in. As I said, you can hate on the guy for all the bad he brought in but he did contribute significantly to the Attitude Era. If Russo wasn't partially responsible, why didn't Vince start that movement the Attitude Era created years earlier when he had the same stars (if not bigger) to work with?

It got to a point where there was really nothing else they could do with the feud. They wanted to still keep Mankind in the main event picture without totally separating him from his feud with the Corporation.

Russo had tons of ideas that McMahon rejected but plenty more that he liked.he was a MASSIVE part of WWFs winning ways from 97 onwards

I hate it when there is something people don't like, and go immediately after Russo. It just gets old.
