I just read ONE page in WF's 'Mania thread after the show against my better judgement, and I'm ready to punch a wall. I seriously cannot believe how so many people who claim to be fans of wrestling could hate a show this much. It's freaking depressing and REALLY makes me wish that the IWC didn't exist. This show wasn't the best, but it was FAR from the worst and was pretty enjoyable compared to last year and previous ones.
You guys make me sick some times. Shut the hell up and enjoy the product for a change. Some of you went into this show with zero intentions on enjoying it and pretty much had your thoughts about it before it even started.

Triple H vs. Undertaker was awful. It was a table spot, 'Taker diving out of the ring, finisher, 5 minutes on the floor, finisher, 5 minutes on the floor, another finisher, another 5 minutes on the floor, another finisher, and another 5 minutes on the floor. And to top it all off, another 5 minutes of 'Taker falling over and eventually having to go off on a stupid ing cart. Big build for a big let down. - The World Title match was decent at best, probably MOTN. Shouldn't have opened at all. - Rhodes/Mysterio was ok. Rhodes looked slow and uninterested, and looked as if he was trying really hard to remember the planned spots. Took a lot away from the match. - 8-Man Tag was an utterly pointless 2 minute match and made The Corre look like crap. - Orton/Punk was ok too, but way too slow and sluggish, but I expect nothing more from Orton. Loved the finish, but it's been done many times. - Cole/Lawler was embarrassing. Cole walked around like a frail ing old woman. He should at least have fell to a Stunner from Austin. Why attack Mathews and Booker? Again, pointless. - The Ziggler/LayCool vs. Snooki/Trish/Morrison would have been better if it wasn't built around Snooki's appearance. All that hype for her to do one ridiculous cartwheel and pin one of the best Divas WWE has. Yeah, right. - The crowd was absolutely dead for the main event. The finish was stupid. The Rock's whole involvement was stupid. The ending was lackluster and served no purpose considering Rock will disappear tomorrow night. I'm just stunned. Give Miz a little credibility with a clean win or cheating by his own means. Rock has completely overshadowed what could have been a strong main event. I'd very much like to have my money back at this point.

Edge versus Alberto Del Rio just made no sense to me. It was pretty much - congratulations on winning the first ever forty man Royal Rumble, Alberto. Now at WrestleMania you get to open the show, lose the match, and then get your car scratched up well you cry like a bitch. Rey and Cody was a damn good match if you ask me and the right man won. The eight-man tag team match was just terrible. The entrances lasted longer than the match. I don't think Orton should of won against Punk especially with him burying out the New Nexus. Though, it was a solid match overall, I believe. Cole and Lawler was probably the second best match of the night, honestly. It was just meant to be a match where the guy you love to hate gets his ass whooped. The Undertaker and Triple H wasn't expected to be this amazing, phenomenal match like the HBK and Taker deuce. However, I loved this match. I adored it. Even though it's obvious almost every year that The Undertaker would walk out the winner - the matches are in good quality most of the time and this was one of them. The mixed tag team match wasn't that spectacular and really wasn't anticipated to be. However, it wasn't sloppy as hell like last years match so it wasn't terrible. The Miz and John Cena actually put on a solid match together and even though pretty much everybody saw it coming with The Rock taking out Cena, it was still watchable and enjoyable. Everybody is entitled to their own opinions, but that's just mine. I give the event a solid 6.5/10.

Well here's my WWE PPV Review. Opening Match: World Heavyweight Championship: 3/5 Stars. I thought this was a great match, but I was in shock that it was the OPENING MATCH. I guess the Royal Rumble Winner headlining WM is out of the question. There were a few back and forths, I actually did think Del Rio would pick up the win, but of course the Rated R Superstar picked up the victory. Second Match: Rhodes vs Mysterio: 3/5 Stars. It was a great match and it helped put Rhodes over as a potential Main Eventer. I thought the top rope super-plex was executed well and the ending was done perfectly. Third Match: 8 Man Tag Team Match: .5/5 Stars. I really was disappointed in this match. They could of at least been given 5-10 minutes tops, but this was one of the worst matches of the night. Forth Match: Orton vs Punk: 2½/5 Stars. Decent and solid match with both superstars putting on a good show. I enjoyed it, but wasn't ecstatic about it. The finish was well done, but I actually predicted that from a mile away. Fifth Match: Lawler vs Cole: 2/5 Stars. I would have given this a 1/5 Stars, but I just loved seeing Cole getting his ass kicked. I was cheering on Lawler when he got inside Cole's box and had Cole ALL to himself. And the post-match celebration was also cool to see. Poor Josh Sixth Match: Undertaker vs Triple H: 3½/5 Stars. Pretty awesome match even though both men are past their prime. When Hunter told Taker to stay down, I'll admit it was pretty emotional. ANd I'll admit this: When Hunter tombstoned Taker, I though it was over, but when Taker kicked out, the crowd and Hunter's expression was priceless. Seventh Match: Mixed Tag Match. 1½/5 Stars. Pretty lackluster match, but Snookie's performance was nothing with what I originally expected. Main Event: 2/5 Stars. Awesome (No pun intended) video packages from both men, but not so much their match. Now ending the match in a double count out was not going to end the show, but Rock giving the Rock Bottom to Cena was. So overall we'll probably see another matchup between Cena/Miz. My overall rating for this PPV is: 3.6/5 Stars

what the hell did you expect man, I hated that cole was in control for an extended period of time, and that he ended up winning, it was just supposed to be lawler beating the snot out of him like shawn vs. vince at mania 22. but it was entertaining. Never, ever, EVER compare Vince/Michaels to Cole/Lawler. Jesus Christ don't crapyour pants man, I was simply saying it should have been an absolute slaughter, with cole getting barely any offense in.

same 3 people bashing mania over and over again, people bash mania every year and it isn't ever as bad as people make it out to be. I enjoyed it but my favorite part was Ryder singing Friday. lmao he is amazing See, this is my qualm. This is Wrestlemania. The best part should not be a ten second segment of a random video clip. It should more than likely be some iconic moment in a main event match. well watching takers last match was great to, pretty iconic if you ask me.

Seriously, man? It was pretty damn awful. It was slow as , Cole didn't even know what the hell he was doing and it looked like they didn't even practice for the match, which is what they SHOULD have done this afternoon instead of sucking down coffees. Cole isn't even a wrestler, so they should have taken time to ing plan it. The best part of that match was Cole's outfit. I'll give you that. Of course he didn't know what he was doing. He's not a wrestler. Plus it seems he went out of his way to look awful. Why should they have practiced it? If they did people would be bitching that it looked too choreographed. It looked bad. Cole has been on and on every week about saying "Jack Swagger is my trainer!" so you would expect SOMETHING to be worked out in that aspect, but Cole looked..... lost. He tried to do the Vader bomb and ed up 3 times doing it and STILL did it, and Lawler still sold it. Cole has been embarrassing Lawler week after week. I would have expected some retribution for what he did, because Austin was also involved. They should of had him play a bigger part in HELPING Cole lose.

Wait are you agreeing with me? It should have been shorter, yes, but I don't think they tried to prolong it. I just think they had no clue what they wanted to do. No plan. That's the reason it was too long. Cole is not a wrestler and having him play the heel for so long when he doesn't know how to dictate the pace of a match is a bad idea. It would for like, a minute. Obviously the plan was just a classic face comeback.

Pretty awful, I must admit. ADR/Edge was a slight letdown as was Orton/Punk. Cole/Lawler was painful to watch by the end. Booker T going in the ring to dance? WTF. I felt bad that Stone Cold, the BAMF of the WWE was reduced to this. Missed Rhodes vs Rey, can't wait to catch up on that tomorrow!
Now, Triple H vs. Taker? GODLY. I'm always a little bitch about HHH, largely due to dirtsheet rumours. But tonight I gained a TON of admiration for the guy. The pure in ring psychology presented by these two veterans demonstrated exactly what the younger talent lack. We witnessed a beautiful story here. Slightly anti climactic ending, IMO, which should have ended with HHH drawing his sledgehammer high (which he did), then getting KO'd. Also, I don't think the Taker stuff was a work, so I hope he's alright. Hard to see that.
Miz/Cena worked, but that's all really. I marked the **** out when Miz kicked out of the FU and I'm very pleased he retained. Overall though, the match was very throwaway, could have been on RAW.

i understand some of you guys, really. like i'd be hard pressed to admit i spent 55 dollars on this. it had a lot of potential, IMO. it just didn't work this year. loads of talent minus Snooki and Cole, but very very poor booking.

I'd say the ones that are disappointed are the ones that would rather bitch and complain about stuff on WF, rather than look for anything good about the show.
Sure, that's good for Raw threads, and I do it a lot..but not when 50 to 60 dollars is being taken from my pocket. That's when you turn off the computer, shut off your mind and enjoy the experience.

I respect your opinion and everything guy, since I see you on this forum and everything, but what happened to opinions, guy? Sure, I've only seen a small handful of WMs in their entirety in the 21 years of my existence, but the show tonight was terrible. Only one real noteworthy match (as good as Rhodes/Rey were, will anyone remember it in a year?), and a way overbooked and just lame finish (especially for WM, imo.). I dunno, man. I hate to be that guy, but in this point you really seem incredulous to the idea of anyone disliking the show, which is silly.
