U know what I love is that you look on the coverage for mattel and there are 4 videos with questions being answered and this guy for jakks keeps saying no comment or I can't answer that. Why hide things and try to surprise us? Let us know of your future plans so we can get excited for it. Watching these vids really bummed me out. We got no answers and it seems like Jakks doesn't know what they are doing with this damn line. I mean come on its been over a year and we got up DI 4 and CTL 3? Which still aren't in most stores!
I wish they would tell us why the hell there are so many delays. This dude was like yea u kno we can get a new figure out in 6-7 months and said it like he was proud! 6-7 months? I love the line but it is being produced way too slowly, we haven't gotten any new body sculpts, and NO ACCESSORIES! How hard is it to release a fig with a belt? Jakks has been slacking and when it finally comes to giving us some information they fail again. Thanks for nothing Jakks.

Yup, I find it funny how we know more about the line then he does. We all know that Rob Terry has the Global Championship belt with his figure, yet Andrew didn't know that. I was wondering if he was going to mention the old school AJ with the X title in the background. Well, at least they're still working on New Japan figures. |

How nice of Jakks to answer THEIR questions, once again. What's the point of asking us to come up with questions if they ignore the ones we want answered?
We, the public and purchases of their product, have some right to knowing why they advertise certain things, and don't deliever and why it takes so long for their product to reach the streets despite "record sales" in the UFC part.

Finally! The men have said it! No more RI!! So from now on moaning about it its the same as moaning about no BCA or no TTL.
Also the guy was honest... the competition is tough...they are doing the best they can.

Another Jeff Hardy exclusive?!?! Man Jakks is really milking the cow on Jeff figures. I would have much rather seen a exclusive Beautiful People 2 pack.
Nice to hear that Dixie will be getting a figure. An it's great that Tara and Mickie James will be getting figures. But what about Sarita? She's been in TNA longer than Tara and Mickie she should come out before both of them.

Pretty much what I expected from Jakks...
The thing is, the announcements here that "Ruthless Impact is on hold" and that the legends line is STILL limited to only "1 legend per DI set", proves to me that Jakks isn't actually listening to the collectors and probably doesn't read the posts here very often. Because if they were, the announcement here would be that they are making more RAs, and they have made some progress on getting legends released more often.
It's obvious to anyone who reads the boards here that many collectors like myself are just completely losing interest in Jakks because of the lack of RAs and small amount of legends. Jakks is choosing to ignore this.
I have been collecting wrestling figures for a long time, and I have a pretty large collection of RAs, but honestly I almost don't care anymore. I'm just sick of Jakks false promises, disappointments, frustrations, etc.
I didn't even raise an eyebrow when they mentioned making figures of referees/announcers etc. I would love a figure of Mike Tenay, and some new referees. But they were always promising to bring us new referee figures with the WWE license, for several years. They never did. So to put it simply, I don't believe them...
I almost can't even be bothered to reply to this topic. I just don't see the point. Jakks either wont read our replies, or will read them and ignore them. So yeh... whatever...

Hoping for a RSR Ultimate X. That would be amazing! Happy about Dixie & GenMe, but honestly couldn't care less about Moore and a little disappointed in the exclusive.

We both know collectors are a minority among people who actually buy figures...Deluxe does sell well for their standards and most important TNA standards. You can make the best figures in the world but if the brand is small then you won't profit anything. They put good figures considering its not WWE Think with me...TNA has 1.4M viewrs in the US. Among those how many buy figures? 5%? You cant make great expensive figures when you sell like 4000 of each. It would be bad business. I think that what Jakks is doing so far is way more than a brand like TNA can have. I wish TNA would grow and allow their figures to follow that path but wrestling is just not a moneymaker anymore. For god sake Smackdown is getting the same ratings that WCW had when it closed. The very last episode of Nitro got a 3.0. Thats just a bit less than what RAW gets today. People just need to be reasonable here... |

I am glad we got an RI Sting and a legends Sting. DI is worthless to me except for the knockouts and larger wrestlers like Abyss and Morgan. So I guess with the exception of the occasional Legend, knockout and mattel figure, I am pretty much done collecting. Oh, and let me just say that another Jeff Hardy figure doesnt make sense. I know he sells, but so would a few others, but, then again, TNA puts on a good show, but they dont seem to have any HUGH stars that dont already have a figure.

Noone ever asks them about the snow boot fiasco... it bothers me. its a small detail that shouldnt be over looked. and it keeps me from buying figures. lol
