I think that Triple H might be the worst Mattel figure so far. Might be fine in just the wrestling gear, but the "denim" clothing is awful.
And then on the flipside of that, that Ricky Steamboat might be the best Mattel figure so far.

holy crap that steamboat has gotta be one of THE best wrestling figures of ALL time. simply amazing. I agree 100%. Steamboat IS one of the best wrestling figures of ALL time if not THE BEST of ALL time. HHH's sculpt/scan is not as bad as I thought it would be. It is actually really good. Also, the jeans do not look terrible MOC, which is good b/c I am a MOC collector. |

Steamboat is remarkable - a true gem. Completely blows my mind. Triple H? Headmold is actually pretty good. Otherwise, a new logo on his tights doesn't seem worth the baggy pants. Would have much preferred it to look like Austin does. I'm sure Mattel will do an attitude Triple H with the memorable silver H logos, anyway.

The Triple H looks way better in that video, but the jeans with the vinyl belt still standout and look silly.
Steamboat is freaking amazing, that's all there is to it.

Cloth jeans aren't the best looking but i love everything else about DM HHH. Sculpt looks great, i like the angry, badass expression.
For me it might just be the best HHH Figure since Jakks' TTL Rumble HHH/Cactus 2-pack.

wow I think I might have to place a pre-order because those look fantastic, the Steamboat is amazing, I didn't particularly like that era Steamboat but the figure is a thing of beauty

Triple H looks cool with the wrestling gear & just the shirt on. Scan is better than people are making it out to be. Steamboat is outta this world amazing! Couldn't be better. Thanks for the videos Tom.  |
