Ugh...the Packers need to go away. Now. Decent looking show otherwise though. I got to agree with this sentiment as well. I have avoided ESPN for a couple of days. They got their "good guy" Rodgers to win the game. Enough already. Bad enough I got to swallow this one last pill on Friday night. Don't want to hear about them anymore. Part of me hopes there is a Lockout to bite Goodell in the rear end. The media was all over how Pittsburgh was going to win and there was no doubt about it. They kept putting them over like the second coming. That was their story this year, Ben was suspended and now he makes a fantastic return to the Super Bowl. Yawn.

If I needed a LAUGH, I got one. Did you watch ESPN or NFLN at ALL??? You have got to be JOKING. Did you listen to their talking heads at all? OMG, I never heard in my 30 plus years of being an NFL fan did I hear commentators not only NOT give the Steelers a CHANCE to win the game, but pretty much AWARDED THE GAME TO THE PACKERS!! Everyone from Trent Dilfer (Huge Aaron Rodgers ass kisser if I ever heard one), Mike Golic, MeShawn Johnson, Deion Sanders, Mariucci, etc, etc pretty much talked about how "great" and "unstoppable" Rodgers was, and how B. J Raji was Mean Joe Greene, Lawrence Taylor, and Reggie White all rolled up into one. They played up Clay Matthews. They said the Steelers new center , Dough Legursky was going to have all kind of problems stopping Raji and all kinds of crap. All we heard was what a terrible thing it was that Ben DARED to take his team mates out to DINNER. WOW. What a tragedy. Goodell had to blindside him with details of what I thought was a LEAGUE MATTER. Funny, details about Spygate , according Goodell was a "league matter," and he wouldn't answer any questions, but he goes and spills the beans on Big Ben to Peter King who had to make a correction on the article. However, the damage was done. I found it interesting that the media didn't sniff out the fact that the Packers EIGHT DAYS before the game went to get fitted for rings. WHy wasn't THIS bit of news sniffed out? I am sure had it been known, the Steelers surely would have been motivated. However, Ben and his team mates going out for dinner and a piano bar? THAT was news. How very convenient. The media can make news when they want to. No matter though. STeelers pretty much handed the game to the Packers. Can't win the game if you turn the ball over three times. People are gonna keep on hating. Steelers will keep on winning. Six rings people.

If all you can say is "we gave them that game", then I'm pretty sure it still means they beat you. That's all I've been hearing. As if to say that the Pack didn't step it up and TAKE the ball away from you guys. They played better than you, you didn't give the anything. Get over it. Pittsburgh has the absolute worst fans in all of football. As delusional as I've ever seen. It get 10x worse after a big loss. No one's thinking about your six rings when you're on the losing end of the big game. But whatever helps you sleep at night.

Oh great, everyone on here is either a Steelers or Packers fan?
Anyway, unless Superbowl 46 happened on Smackdown this week, I dunno why people are arguing American Football.
Smackdown is actually feeling a bit stagnant again at the moment to be honest. The same things are happening every week again.

I was wondering if glory hunting is as bad in American Football as it is over here with our Football (or Soccer or w.e.).

Well you do get a ton of people who become fans the instant someone wins and once they lose they swear the team off.

I just really can't stand Steelers fans. When they win, they're "the greatest team ever!". When they lose they're "still the greatest team ever and we GAVE them that win!". Like I said, most delusional fan base I've ever seen.

Eagles, die-hard forever here. I don't care what anyone says, they are the best team to me. And we lost in the Wild Card sure. But guess who we lost to? The champs. That's right, at least we lost to the best.
Anyways, seems like a decent show, and Clay Matthews as a referee = win!

Browns (being I'm in Northeast Ohio) and Packers(a lot of family in Packers country, so I've been rooting for them since I started really watching Football) since I was a child...So the Pack winning it was sweet, beating Pittsburgh to get it? EVEN SWEETER! There were a LOT of Steeler bandwagon riders.
