Hardest deaths to accept for me was Mike Awesome, Eddie Gurerro, and Hawk. Mike Awesome's was the hardest for me. I saw him in ECW, and would watch my VHS tapes of him in ECW and FMW, followed him into WCW, aswell as his week or 2 run in WWF's Invasion... I made custom figures of him in all my feds, from TTL to R-3 to RA and DA's. He was one of my favorite wrestlers. R.I.P.
This tribute still makes me shed a tear!

Eddie Guerrero because I actually cried when I heard about it Benoit's death was different. I kinda stopped thinking about it for a while and found a way to just enjoy Benoit's matches and not think about what he supposedly did. I just adjusted to it

Eddie and Benoit.
I'm sure Owen, Mr. Perfect, and Bulldog would be there too had I of been old enough when they all passed. I picked up on classics or legends when I was about 12, and Bret was my first favorite Legend, closely followed by Owen, Perfect, and Bulldog.

Personally, the hardest wrestling death for me was JC Bailey. He died over the summer and I still haven't fully come to terms that he's gone. That I'm not going to be surfing online and see he's booked somewhere. I was always very close to JC and grew to be friends with him outside of the ring, because some of his good friends were also my good friends, friends I had since kindergarten and before. It's truly unbelievable to me that a man not much older than me that I called a friend is dead from "natural" causes, thanks to the damage he did to his body wrestling. Sure, it's always shocking when a 40 something, early 50s wrestler dies.. But JC wasn't even 30 years old.. and he dropped dead from brain damage, from so many concussions. I miss you JC. I think about you every day. I can only hope that where ever you ended up, you're tieing up with Brody, bleeding all over the place, and working amazing matches every night. B@M!
From WWE, Owen's death hit me pretty hard, because Owen was always one of my favorite wrestlers and I was relatively young and impressionable when he died. I remember watching the PPV through a scrambled station, where I'd only hear the audio and see a picture about every other second for that PPV. I remember distinctly hearing the Blue Blazer promo, then it was mostly silent. then the picture/audio broke up. Then I caught JR saying "there's been an accident. This is not a wrestling storyline". Then later in the show, I heard them say Owen had passed away. It wasn't until the next night for Raw that I fully grasped it.
Benoit's hit me kind of hard, not because of his death, not because of what he did, but because of the backlash it had on pro wrestling as a whole. In 2007, I was at a point in my life where I really didn't care much about wrestling, but I still loved it. I didn't watch WWE at all, but it was still my passion. And as a wrestling fan, we're allowed to criticize WWE and call it lame. we're allowed to call TNA hokey bull crap storylines. But when people who aren't fans badmouth it, without any understanding of what they are badmouthing, it really strikes a nerve. People like Nancy Grace and other media personalities who ran their mouths about steroids and other non-sense, and just general people I was around that talked all kinds of stupid crap about Benoit and about wrestling as a whole just really irritated me, to the point that if anyone tried to talk to me about it, I'd tell them to shut up, or just flat out walk away.

Being not only an indy wrestler, but a wrestling FAN from Kentucky, JC's death was shocking and upsetting. I remember first meeting JC, and talking to him, hanging out with him after shows, running into him at Wal*Mart....So many memories of him. It's still hard to think that he's no longer with us.

To me it's owen hart bc he didn't contribute in any way to his death. I feel bad for guys like eddie, perfect, bulldog but all of them made the choice to take steroids/drugs. Owen wasn't' involved in any of that. He also actually saved his money and had a stable family life. It was just a tragic accident.

Owen Hart at the time because even though I was a bit younger, it's when I first reaaally got into wrestling.
More recently, Eddie Guerrero was awful as well as Benoit to a degree. But two I also found bad were Mike Awesome and Chris Candido, two extremely talented guys and Candido gave so much to the business.

Deaths havent really been hard on me. I mean, I dont know these people or anything they do outside of about 5-10 minutes a week when they're on tv. I never can understand why people go on and on and on and on and on and on with Eddie Guerrero dying. He's not family, you didnt hang out with him. Chance are the majority of people werent that big of a fan of him before he died. Its almost like they do it for the attention.
