Not that I have an ego or anything, but USWF has had several shows since the last issue and I wouldn't mind starting to get some recognition in this thing:

I think the assumption was that whoever did the Power 25 was to be aware of, or was gonna look through those shows. I know it;s a daunting task, but I think that was the idea, I could be wrong, but I don't recall shifty asking for links Just my two cents

Tirva, Wars and Odb provided links to everything they have done and I appreciate it greatly. I dont see why my asking for links is a big deal. It would make this undertaking a lot easier.

The idea is to have watched the shows or have a strong "understanding" of what was going on in all of the pic feds. I dont know how up to date June is with whats going on in all the shows but for someone say like me, Its obvious I wouldnt be a good fit as I have only followed about 5 shows.

Also the top 25 kinda seems like too much for me. I think a top 10 or 15 would be more suitable for future magazines. Just my opinion though. I just know there's not THAT many feds here so a smaller number would make it more important plus could be a little easier on whomever has the task of doing the rankings.

When I ask for the link it so I can watch the show so I can compile a fair and accurate list. I don't understand the confusion.

In the future, I think a top 15 would be easier that way it's not too watered down. Then you basically figure (no pun intended) who the top 3 guys are per fed and then it's just a process of elimination. Linking June does help eliminate him having to swift through window to window on his comp and through the back that back logs to August 21st.

I'm actually looking forward to this issue! I plan to be a part of the next one!

Oh no doubt it helps, I was just sayin I think it has always been the assumption. If nothing else maybe everyone can link the person to their top guys matches, he can view them and sort them via rankings. That way you dont have a #25 Seymore Snatchbutt that has wrestled 4 matches and gone 4-0 but still isnt doing anything in the fed.

There's is nothing that is difficult to understand. What I'm saying is, that when someone takes on this project, it is assumed the people already watched the shows, and they are compiling the list from their own observations. This is how shifty did it. It's not to compare you two, but, number one, you have to think, what if certain people like myself didnt see your request to hand in matches? Then they are left out. Consequently you then are pulling from only those fedders that handed in, and in the process, excluding other feds, albeit unintentionally.

The last two Top 25's have been done by shifty based off of the notion that he would list it according to what he thought should be listed based on his observation. The same assumption applies here.

That's clearly not the way it's being done this time, and that's fine. But, I'd suggest that the next magazine top 10, 15, 25 be done by either the same person or a disclaimer be put up saying that those that want to be considered should submit their matches.

Personally, I wouldnt want to have to sift through all those matches again. I'm just trying to make you and others aware of the hangup with this process, to hopefully, avoid this conflict the next time.

I didn't ask for links I don't think. I went through and watched two pages of shows and made a list based off what I saw. Expected you'd do the same. Not happy really as you're holding up the magazine being posted.
