the Montreal Screwjob, but no one ever talks about the parody's/reenactments that took place over the years after throughout all wrestling federations. Anyone have any good ones?

The first time they did it on the RAW before Unforgiven 98 (Dude Love abdominal stretching Steve Blackman all the bell rings) was clever to set up the idea that Vince would screw Austin out of the title the way he did Bret. Survivor Series 98 was the best one because the whole set-up and angle was great. Everyone after that basically sucked. I thought TNA's 2006 Slammiversary one at least provided the cool visual of the fans pelting the ring with garbage.

Every reenactment was just plain dumb IMO.

Punk/Taker/Scott Armstrong/Teddy Long and Kurt/AJ/Earl Hebner/Hogan are tied for my dumbest/worst.
Just because they were both done literally JUST to do.

I liked the return to the screwjob mentality during the Austin vs Dude Love feud.
I also liked the swervefest at SS98:Deadly Games

survivor series 98 was odd because foley has said time and time again how he hated how bret was screwed, yet then reenacted it. who knows.

Yeah at Starrcade 99 which already borrowed liberally from the Vince/Shane/Austin angle the previous year. It sucked.

huge reason why wcw killed the bret hart character and failed to present him properly. very true.what I never got about Bret in WCW was.....why would a guy that was screwed by a tyrant abusing the little guy in WWE side with the same persona in WCW? his heel turn in WCW baffled me to be honest

Nothing in WCW involving Bret Hart made any good sense, at all. At least with Russo running things Bret got to be champion/main eventing, until Goldberg ed that up for all of us.

i really don't see bret hart agreeing to that, but hey, who knows.

Bret's stint in WCW was a clusterf*ck as e just wasn't booked properly or into anything that made sense. For like the first year you didn't know if he was a face or heel! WCW did nothing with Bret which is a shame because look at all the talent that he could've been matched up against; Hennig, Sting, Page, Savage, etc. The main events WCW could've produced had they booked and built the match properly. But "WCW" and "properly" in the same sentence at that point in the company's history is a real oxymoron.

Bret Hart vs Curt Hennig for the WCW Title should have happened many many many times.

Didn't Vince always say that WCW could have built their entire company around Bret... instead they chose to drag out multiple factions of the nwo which to this day for me ruined it.
