WCW Galoob History Part 2: Lex Luger

Next up is Sting's sometime friend and enemy "The Total Package" Lex Luger.


(Release #1- Test Market Piece)

This Luger came with navy trunks, black knee pads and white boots. It was released on a card that had the words "Presents the Superstars of the NWA" in the bottom right corner. The package had "J-Hook A" and "Hang Tab A".











(Release #2)

This Luger package had the words "Presents The Superstars of the WCW" on front. It had "J Hook A" and "Hang Tab A". This was the mainstream release. The cardback was the same as Release #1.









(Release #3)

This Luger package had the words "Presents The Superstars of the WCW". This version had "J Hook B" and "Hang Tab B".











(Release #4)

This Luger package had the words "Superstars of the WCW". It also had "J Hook B" and "Hang Tab B".






That wraps up Luger, ne next up will be the Nature Boy ! Whoooo!

Great work as usual not one of my favorite WCW figures as I thought his pose kind of made him akward to play with. What I thought was cool with the WCW Luger was the one in entrance gear I used that one as my pre ring hasbro fig lol.

Luger wasn't a favorite of mine either, but still decent nonetheless.

Contrastly, Luger was one of my favorites. Great likeness and loved the trunks. You could shape the arms a bit to get him to do a clotheline. regardless, one of my favs. Why no mention of robed luger or green tights luger. Robed luge was nice but i boutgh him without seeing first and thought robe was removeable
