well last week we had the horror of Xanta Klaus and this week its...... Phantasio one appearance on Wrestling Challenge.....LOL.The New Generation was just SO bad sometimes en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phantasio

LOL......nobody even remembers this guy enough to post ;D oh man he really is the definition of obscure I have a vague recollection of Phantasio doing a trick where he pulled a string of hankerchiefs out of his mouth as the crowd just sat there. I don't think they had any idea of how to react.

Fantastic wrestler, so sad that he died right before his prime... But onto topic. I'm a huge fan of Spellbinder, as I was all into USWA at the time. I didn't remember him being in WWE at al until I first saw it on Wrestlecrap. Shame he wasn't used better, if they had done any of the cool stuff with him in WWE they did in USWA I would have been very happy. Instead, his finisher was a wedgie. Also, wiki doesn't mention his time in USWA's version of the Nation... Gosh that was silly and amazing. He changed his name to Elijah during that time.

I personally loved this gimmick. I think if they would have given it more time to build, I think it could have worked.

i just cant believe some people on the jakks board saying he deserved a classic figure or they were surprised he didn't get a figure...

While I agree Phantasio would be an odd choice for a figure, I would love to have a figure of Spellbinder. I may have to make one some day.
