Not a good sign of the times when Friday Night SmackDown and the Internet have me more hyped for the Rumble than RAW or any of their constant ad's about it. EDIT: Just as I come across a new Thread about the lack of surprises in the Rumble because of the Internet, Booker T came out on the Rumble I'm watching. Booker.T thing, you can't do nothing about. But Smackdown, if the WWE doesn't want spoilers on it, then make it live. Which it should be.

Is anyone else just really pumped right now?
Still 4 hours, but I can't wait anymore.

I cant wait for this. Not a clear cut winner like other years. 3 title matches im looking forward too possible Kong debut, Possible returns of Booker and Nash, Maybe Christian Triple H returns. Should be epic. Tyson Kidd hopefully will get a good run too although He'll likely be out early. First 2 I think will be Daniel Bryan and Morrison

The thing that is making the wait for this rumble so exciting is that there really is no obvious winner.
As long as it's not Cena (or some randomer like Darren Young of course), I will be happy with whoever wins tonight. I'm a big fan of Cena, but it would be truly wasteful of WWE to give him a second rumble win, especially when we have JoMo, Alberto Del Rio, Wade Barrett, CM Punk, Christian (maybe?) etc etc who could really benefit from it.
EDIT: Still haven't ordered yet. Cannot decide if it's gonna be worth my money. Based on what I said above though, it's worth a punt.

Man, this is the first time in the Rumble hype that I'm wishing I was in Boston waiting around for the show right now.
This will be the second Boston PPV I miss in the last ten years, the only other being Survivor Series '08. At that time, I didn't care at all, I wasn't really into the product at all and even though I was a short train ride away from Boston (I was at school in Massachusetts at the time) I had no desire to go.
The Rumble is different, though. Though I could hardly justify paying the ticket price anymore, my friend from the military who used to go to all the shows with me was supposed to come home this month, and we were planning to make the trip down if his leave fell around this time. Unfortunately, his leave got pushed back, so we had to scrap the plans.
Oh well, I've done the Rumble before, so at least I know what it's like. Still excited for the show nonetheless.

Shawn Michaels Tweet:
"After church I got flooded w/lots of calls. Let's just say I'm looking 4ward to the Rumble. At the very least it shud b fun 4 all."
Doesn't mean he's in it, but he knows something that will go down tonight.

Oh fine, you've twisted my arm. Royal Rumbles are always worth it. Well, not 2006. But almost.

Yeah, thankfully, the Royal Rumble is almost always worth it. I've been watching regularly since December of 1998, and the only two Royal Rumbles that I didn't see live were 2000 and 2001. The rest, I either paid for myself, shared the cost with someone else (and attended one), and they've all been worth it - except for 2006.
There are few instances that I've felt more cheated out of one of my favorite events of the year than I did with Royal Rumble 2006. I remember thinking it was horrible from start to finish.

Tell me about it. Over the past couple of days i've watched three rumbles a day, from 1988-2010 and man, watching 2006 was awful.

I'm kind of excited for the rumble but I still wish they made more than 4 matches.
