Any version that included the blasting cap, it just wasn't the same after he was gone.

I just have to post this... That's an amazing picture. I still hold the horseman theme that was posted as my favorite theme ever in professional wrestling.

cant say Ill ever understand the move to put Roma in the 4H......just an absolutly shocking decision yeah roma wasnt a good fit at all but there was a reason or so i have heard.... it was slamboree 94 tully blanchard was on the card in one of the "legends matches" vs terry funk... the powers in charge of wcw at the time thought they could get tully to rejoin wcw...a deal was being talked over leading to the event... and in the tv programs building to it arn anderson kept practically bragging that his hand was returning to a very familliar cramp..and he would then show the 4 fingers.... from what i heard and im not sure if its true the original plan was for arn and flair to run in during tullys match with funk and the 3 would stomp the hell out of funk...and then raise 4 fingers in the air...tully was to take the mic and say "its time for the real horsemen to ride tall in the saddle again and no title is safe..." arn was to chime in with "it was 2, now its 3 and before the night is over it will be a full reunion you can mark my words on that." then flair would cap it off by saying a little speech about how the horsemen all were equil to each other..all were world championship calibur..but that he has to prove he can still wear the big gold belt and also re earn the respect in the ring from barry windham..." as i heard it flair would go on to win the nwa belt from whindam (thus re earning windhams respect that flair could still go) and then reforming the 4 horsemen from 1988... but with col parker in the jj dillion role...the col and his stable of race horses. weather any of that is true or not i have no clue just hear say of fellow old schoolers..but blanchard did say in a shoot that he was negoitiating a contract wanted a good deal of being able to wrestle but continueing on with his preaching engagements also... the deal fell threw some how and tully said not to hint that he was joinging the horsemen on the pay per view because after his match he was leaving. tony schavonnie even makes a sarcastic remark about tully saying "he snubbed the horsemen" while commentating during the event... and in spite, somebody not sure who picked roma as a way to stick it to tully like roma was a better tully or something... of course roma was piss poor and didnt really fit... i do have to say mr wonderful paul orndorff really helped me like roma once he was in the team pretty wonderful with orndorff... not sure why but seemed to me like he was begining to understand how to be mean and vain and i think alot of that was orndorffs help... it boggles my mind...if at slamboree 94 the horsemen reunited all 4 members of the 1987/88 version of the group it was not long after that circumstances arose for wcw to get there hands on hulk hogan... for me seeing the horsemen in the 1988 formation of flair, barry, tully and arn re taking over wcw and then warring with hulk hogan, sting and as time showed later on macho man coming in and the road warriors returning the birth of the giant and the face turn of vader not to mention harlem heats rise and even the returns of luger and th stienr bros... man by 96 wcw would of been even hotter... and the wwfs additude would of had a harder time in my view over coming the 2 acts that made the nwa and wwf feud in the 80s red hot...hulk a mania up north and the 4 horsemen down south...if in 1994 wcw could have gotten those 2 big money making segments together in one promotion along with all the other things going well only one can look back and think...what if now...

cant say Ill ever understand the move to put Roma in the 4H......just an absolutly shocking decision somebody not sure who picked roma as a way to stick it to tully like roma was a better tully or something... of course roma was piss poor and didnt really fit... If this is true, it just goes to show how miss-managed WCW was. They chose to throw one of their most successful stable in the garbage just to stick it to a guy that would not even be in the company after that night??? That's some really smart booking there...

yeah i agree...as i said i dont know if thats true but man it would of been awesome if things had gone the other way...by the time hogan came in they could of realistically worked the titles back on to the horsemen thus putting them back in the drivers seat of the whole promotion the along comes hulk hogan and crew...what a awesome time it would of been...
i also have to agree mrwonderful would of been a great choice also..he had the right vibe and would fit well in the group

Im actually not a fan of Orndorff as a Horseman. I mean really think about the names, Flair, Anderson, Anderson, Blanchard, Windham, Luger, Pillman, Sting, Benoit, Malenko, Sid......everybody but the worse two (Roma and McMichael) were true NWA/WCW guys. Orndorff, even though he spent a lot of time in NWA territories and WCW, was truly a WWF guy.
1992-1994 might have been too late in his career but I always felt that Greg Valentine would be a great fit in the Horsemen. Younger generation would see him as a WWF guy too but his claim to fame was really his mid atlantic days.

Orndorff would have been amazing in the Horsemen. He would have been a great fit for the "Tully-I've-got-a-girl-on-each-arm-and-lots-of-money-and-I-can-really-wrestle-Blanchard" role.
