Yeah I want Rayne but LMFAO at paying $25 plus shipping for it. That is about the equivalent of paying $50 for a Basic Sheamus. If RS can get away with it then all the power to them but it makes no sense to me why the price would be that high. First of all the wholesale on Jakks is $7.25, and I am sure RSCs doesn't pay that given the kind of consistent volume they do. I know with UFC Jakks will wholesale stuff as low as $3.50 a figure. So essentially Ringside is paying somewhere in the middle more than likely. If they pay $5 a figure and then mark it up to $25, then I have little to no patience with that. There is lots of ass kissing that goes on around here, but Ringside by far is the most profitable scalper I know. As a business person, I applaud it, but as a consumer and collector it makes me shake my head. The suggested MSRP for a Jakks figure is $12.99, Ringside has it at $25. You figure it out. Before you go around making false assumptions, are you aware that: A) Rayne is 1 per case? B) Terry Taylor is 2 per case? (Do you think we will get stuck with any of those and lose money? Do you have any use for a thousand Pope Dinero or Desmond Wolfe figures right now?) C) We overnight our first shipment of figures from the factory in China. Call FedEx and ask them how much it is to overnight a 6 lb. box from China to the United States and then come back here and tell me we are "scalping". D) We are not looking to replace your local Wal-Mart, Toys R Us, etc... We cannot possibly ever compete with them on price, so we compete with them on service, free collector content such as this website, and product availability. We are a specialty retailer. In addition, we are not stopping you from buying all of your figures at Wal-Mart. Please do. However, we offer a premium service to collectors who do not have the time or patience to go figure hunting everyday. In addition, we also offer a premium service of overnighting the figures from China so that we usually get them weeks before any stores do. If you have a job, goto school, etc, then you might find it convenient to pay a couple of dollars more per figure and have them shipped straight to your door. If not, we mean you no harm and we have an entire figure findings forum dedicated to helping you find figures in your local stores!!! E) If you were to purchase the Complete Set of 6 Deluxe Impact 6 figures and use the WFIGS 10% off code, you would only pay $11.99 PER FIGURE! Or $2 more than your local Wal-Mart charges and you get them all weeks or months before your store does and you don't have to go hunting for them. If we sold the Rayne's for the regular price individually, we would be sold out and have none available for customers who wish to purchase the complete sets, making us get stuck with even more Terry Taylor figures! F) Our 2nd Ocean shipment of every set usually arrives 4-6 weeks after our first shipment. Usually at this point the price drops because it is much less expensive to ship the figures to us by Ocean instead of overnighting them like with our first shipment. OR wait for your local stores to get them, again, we are offering a premium service and we are not here to replace your local Wal-Mart nor are we trying to. I don't think anyone is really expecting you to sell Madison Rayne for 9.99 first of all. Second, all of that is totally understandable, but it still doesn't really explain to me why Madison is 24.99 TO START OFF WITH when Angelina was priced 17.99 the first day it was added to pre-order and Velvet was 13.99. Madison should have been 15.99-19.99 not 24.99. Not to mention this Madison Rayne figure is no where near as important or detailed as the Velvet and Angelina figures.

I don't mind the mark-up on Madison Rayne, as like he explained, it works out to only two more bucks than retail when ordering the complete set (which is what I do).
I just don't understand the mark-up of the CTL 4, unless they changed the way they are packed or something. *shrugs*.

You let supply and demand dictate that price or you made that up? B) It is hardly the consumers fault if you can't move an entire case of product, regardless of the character. At that point you sell the item at MSRP or drop it below that to cut into your profit margin. Especially, given the fact you guys usually have the product plenty ahead of the store. Meaning if you dropped your profit margin on single items you could more than likely make a bigger profit when all is said and done. C) That is a sunk cost because you do what you have to in order to compete with the big boys. I applaud you for making it all work. That being said, I would love to see your price points where it became necessary for you to charge $50 for a Basic Sheamus based on shipping. D) Not relevant at all to this conversation. I never, nor will I, compared you to Target, Walmart, or any other mass retailer. E) Why does the consumer who wants to buy on a per figure basis care? Do more people buy per figure or per case? Which volume is more in totality? You reward the people who buy the whole case and help move your inventory, that makes perfect sense. F) Thanks for reminding me I can get the product cheaper everywhere else Listen, I know what you do, I love what you do. In general, it is a great service and the customer service is without question outstanding. All I am asking is don't be shocked when we complain about price points when in the past they haven't been that high on similar individual figures. At that point, if you increase the price on something to make more than a 40-50% mark up and I call you a scalper don't get offended at me calling a spade a spade. I know I keep going back to the Sheamus, but at $50 how can you not be making more than 50% mark up? Rayne isn't as extreme but as another member suggested, what is the difference between her and Angelina Love? No one in DI 5 is over $20 so does that mean no one is 1 per case? Just trying to add it all up so it makes sense to people.
