Not sure if this the right board, but it is Classic Wrestling related... Do any of the (probably older) guys here remember the WrestleFest Arcade game? I just to play it all the time in one of those arcade alleys we had in Amsterdam back then. Thought it was awesome. Always played as Demolition (Smash & Crush) and it used to cost me a lot to finally beat the LOD for the Tag Title. It also had the Royal Rumble match which started with 6 wrestlers in the ring and once one was eliminated another would enter. I was lucky enough to be able to buy a WrestleFest Jamma cabinet a few years ago and still play the game ever so often. For free! Turned one of the rooms in my house into an Arcade Alley. Have the Royal Rumble Pinball machine and two other (non wrestling) Arcade cabinets as well. Also was able to get the Wrestling Challenge and WestleMania PCBS, but they're not quite as good as WrestleFest. Challenge had only six wrestlers to select and it took forever to beat Andre & Ted. WrestleMania was too life-like. Do you guys remember this game (fondly) and if you do, which team did you lead to the tag titles?

I remember this game very well. I used to spend tons of money playing it at our local bowling alley (which had a small section for arcade games) back in the early 90s.
I did basically what you did... I was always Demolition. Great game!
EDIT: On a depressing note, of the 12 wrestlers in that game, 5 of them are now deceased. Incredibly, Jake Roberts is not one of them.

Oh, I LOVED that freakin' game!! That and Double Dragon were my top 2 favorite arcade games ever!! WWF WrestleFest was WAY ahead of it's time.
I only wish they would've released that on a home video game system, but they never did and they never will now because they'd have to edit it, because of the "WWF" and "World Wrestling Fedetation" references and that REALLY sucks.
I loved playing as The Big Boss Man and Earthquake. Their finishers are still awesome. I still think this is THE best WWF/E video game ever. Nothing else compares to how good WrestleFest was.

the best wrestling game ever. earthquakes finisher is funny and awesome. i just love how cartoonish the game is. its like playing with hasbro figures. didnt really get the hang of the game on arcade, wasnt untill i downloaded it as a mame rom that i really got good in it. plus the digitized voice samples of LOD are hilarious. if it wasnt so rare here in norway, and if i had more space, i would buy the arcade in a heartbeat.

A friend and mine played this so much at a pizza joint growing up that 5 years after it disappeared we found it again in an arcade. We dropped 50 cents a piece to get Hogan and Warrior and cleaned house in the royal rumble until it was down to just us. We no joke, had a crowd around us because we were going at it so intense.

I absolutely loved this game and wish I was playing it right now.
I usually played as some combination of Perfect, Roberts, and Warrior. That lead to "Ultimate Perfection" being the top team in my hasbro fed. I often switched it up though. And would sometimes get Demolition in hopes of figuring out how to do the decapitator but I never could.
Ah, the days of youth and the giant arcade at the mall... How I miss you.

Oh man I LOVE that gane! My arcade never got it so all i ever did was hear about the game. That is until the game-simulator or whatever became available for PCs and I played that game for hours! I loved being Roberts & Earthquake!

If anyone goes south for Vacation. In gatlinburg Tennessee about a year and a half ago, there is a small mall right in the middle of town called something like the Smokey Mountain Mall. On the very top floor there is an old school like arcade with games and stuff. As of a year and a half ago this game was STILL up there for $.50 a game. Def something to try out if your family vacations around that area.......and if you go, lemme know, Ill meet ya up there haha

The last time I played WrestleFest was in that very arcade about 3 years ago when we were on vacation. It had been ages since I had played it and I was absolutely shocked when I seen it in there. I spent a good hour playing and I thought my wife was going to kill me. Good times indeed! I could not tell you how much money I spent on this game and the other WWF arcade game (The one where you fought Andre and DiBiase at the end, which I loved just as much as WrestleFest. Andre was an absolute beast on that game!) when I was a kid. I always played as either Warrior, Perfect, or Smash. As somebody above said, the LOD voice clips were hilarious as well.

Across the street from the Aquarium? I might have to go there. I miss Wrestlefest... actually, all of the WWF arcade games.

Its a funky ass mall. its like the size of a closet but on about 40 floors. Also when you first walk in to the right there is a video/music store there (or was last year) they've had alot of older WWE dvds to check out too.
