What's your favorite title?

The post about the Winged or Attitude title got me thinking about which title is my favorite in wrestling history. Taking into account all of the titles that have been used in WWF, WCW, and ECW history, which one would you guys say is your favorite?

Mine has got to be the WWF classic intercontinental title. I love the way it looked and I loved pretty much all of the wrestlers that held it (Warrior, Rude, Perfect, etc. etc.). It also meant so much more back in the 80's and 90's

Same, although I also have a soft spot for the NWA/WCW Television Championship and the WWF European Championship.

The big gold belt AKA current World Heavyweight Champion belt. Looks like it has the most prestige to it. Give it back to a heel Triple H dammit

The WCW World Heavyweight Championship/WWE Heavyweight Championship, it's amazing, looks incredible. If only David Arquette etc hadn't held this title it'd be awesome but meh. Thought this title looked amazing between 2002-2004 when the WWE used it. Obviously it's still going but I'm not such a modern follower.

The old Intercontinental championship, by far. When I'd first gotten big into wrestling, it had a higher prestige than the WWF Heavyweight title in my mind.

Didn't hurt that Razor Ramon was wearing said championship at the time.

This is hard, I really like the WWF European & ECW Tag Team Titles.

But I guess I'll go with this:



I love how it's a wing eagle looking belt that just broke and they place tape all over it and write " WWF Hardcore Hampion. " lol.

The Winged Eagle Belt followed by the first version of the WCW title. There is also a version of the IWGP belt ( I think from the mid 2000s) that is pretty sweet.

Also, I HATE character-themed belts like the Smoking' Skull and Spinner, despite being a fan of SCSA.

EDIT: Here is that version of the IWGP belt. It almost looks like a king's crown. I really like it.

I'm going with the Attitude Era belt.

It just looked great on and off of many wrestlers. (The Rock, SCSA, HHH)

But i also have to go with Oska and say the Hardcore Championship is also pretty cool... mainly because Foley got it first.

also loved how important the IC belt was until about 99......it was the path to the big belt

It's a tie between the WWF Winged Eagle and Classic WWF Intercontinental belts. Man, they were awesome. I wish they were still around today.

Seriously, get rid of that ing piece of sh*t Cena Spinner belt, and bring back the Winged Eagle. Either that or the really old-school "Big Green" WWF Heavyweight title that guys like Bob Backlund, The Iron Sheik and Hulk Hogan held. That was a sweet belt too.

I do love the IWGP championship with it being probably #5 or 6 in my top 10 championships.

I'll have to slide with the WWF Winged Eagle Championship belt. I love that title and it was held by some of the best in the game.

I do have a soft spot for the WCW United States and TV championships.

The IWGP belt IS a special belt! And I guess technically, Scott Norton did show up on WCW TV with it, so it's apart of WCW history.

I'd say my favorite would be the following:

WWF history: the first Winged Eagle belt, it had a 2-gold tone to it, you can see clearly when you watch the night it debuted ("Main Event" Feb. 1988 - Hogan was wearing the '86 belt during his interview, but when he walked out into the arena, there was the Winged Eagle making it's debut!)

WCW history: Obviously the Big Gold with the brown strap! It represented the NWA world title for a time, it showed up on WWF TV during a time that it was taboo in doing so, and it ultimately became the WCW World title. I really hate the fact that WWE started using this styled belt, because they tarnished the historic purity of the original belt without using the original Big Gold.

ECW: The tag team belts that looked alot like the WWF IC belts at the time lol. That, or the Winged Eagled TV belt lol

Non-WWF/WCW/ECW: The 10lbs of gold, original. The belt that Flair owns, for now anyways. You can't beat that.
