This is just another reason why I hate DDP, grunge music nearly killed rock n roll, and DDP nearly killed WCW. I was glad when both phases were over. But If I had to choose between DDP as a top guy and that Nexus schmuck I'd go with Mr Self High Five.

How is Nexus even remotely relevant? DDP and "that Nexus schmuck"(which one I have no idea who you're talking about because there are 5 members) are also from two totally different eras of wrestling. Completely unrelated and you only felt the need to mention that because I have a Nexus sig.
Grow up.

In a way the two are similar to me because DDP turned me off to WCW, and Nexus turned me off to the WWE. I was no trying to rip on your sig, I dont even pay attention to those, but now that you mentioned it you have thrown me for a loop, because I see that you are sporting a Cena sig.

I loved DDP in WCW, but when they made him Sara's stalker in the WWF, all I kept thinking about was this... I hated that storyline, simply because DDP was in it, but what makes it totally ridiculous is the fact that 1. Undertaker married that hideous thing, and 2. That DDP would feel the need to stalk IT when he has Kimberly when he had Kimberly at home. Okay, we ing get it, you hate DDP. No need to keep responding to this thread with nonsensical jabbering laced with spinkles of "I hate DDP, DDP sucks".

I was 9 years old at the time and basically a mark, I loved the whole stalker story, the disguised voice freaked me right out, My dad spoiled it for me though, we got Raw in the UK in 2001 on fridays and he read about it on the Monday and told me it was DDP, I still loved it though .

And I bought into also, but mostly because I thought they were gonna bring Kimberly in... Looking back, as bad as the whole InVasion was...it was still entertaining

I followed DDP pretty early from when he started wrestling for WcW. I loved the guy. The promoted him as a guy who went from nothing to fight to get it all. I loved his battles with Macho man and his three way with Raven and Benoit was epic for sure. Great matches.

Diet Dr Pepper? I really liked the story that at Wrestlemania 6 he drove HTM`s car and then over 10 years later he was on Wrestlemania 18 vs Christian. It made me believe that dreams do come true.

I still don't get why Vince didn't hire Kim. She would have made the Divas roster interesting.

Its a shame what the WWE did to DDP. The guy was legit over big time in WCW and was one of their top stars. Just listen to the pop he got when he hit the Diamond Cutter on Goldberg at Halloween Havoc 1998. Vince then decided that DDP should be a stalker and his career went downhill from their. Seriously, he had his ass handed to him for months by Taker w/out ever looking like a serious threat. Even Taker's fugly wife pinned him. Even TNA used DDP far better than the WWE.
It always makes me wonder what Vince was smoking when he claimed that he had no top stars from WCW during the Invasion angle, yet he had DDP and Booker T, who were top guys from WCW. Vince should have pushed these two as serious threats. Instead, they were treated as jokes by even the mid-carders at the time. Vince screwed up big time w/ DDP.

Always loved DDP, was so excited when he came to the WWF and feuded with Taker, but we all know where his WWF career ended up...in the toilet.
