Now, most people i know loved the attitude era, recently, there have been many people who expressed dislike for it, so today i want to focus on one of the most extreme parts of that era, Ministry Undertaker (or the Ministry in general)
I just want to know, do you think the Ministry Undertaker pushed the bounderies of wrestling storylines to its limits and walked the taboo line better than any other with sacrifices, rituals and even a live hanging, or was it all a bit silly?
For me, i loved it, i was young and Undertaker scared me, scared me into becoming a fan of his, and it was watching that era of Undertaker that made me pay more attention to him leading to him becoming my favourite wrestler ever.
So whats your opinions? keep in mind, this isn't sort of comparing him to now, its establishing whether he was a great part or a ludicris part of the attitude era

It was my favorite era of Taker, more so the look, than anything else.

It was definitely silly, but no more silly than a villain in a movie or any cheesier than wrestling in general. I liked it just because I love it when wrestling gets 'dark'. Undertaker going after Stephanie was a cool storyline.

Undertaker going after Stephanie was a cool storyline. I think thats what i loved, any dark characters in wrestling i seem to love: Taker, Kane, Gangrel, Raven, hell arguably Goldust...

I guess I went with ridiculous. I mean it was entertaining but at the same time, it was kinda silly and stupid. I guess if The Undertaker was all you ever new from Mark Callous then I could see how it was amazing but after seeing him as a Sky Scraper and being managed by Teddy Long and Paul E. Dangerously. I never could be amused by his character....until he was ABA

I liked it.
The Ministry was made out to be so poweful......kidnapping and brainwashing other wrestlers etc.
also liked UTs slowly teased heel turn.frm the brutality he showed a helpless Foley in HIAC to his final turn before Breakdown.
his feud with Austin was also great

My favorite memory or time I actually liked him, was when he first showed up in the WWF with Bro. Love at the Royal Rumble. With that said, I think the Ministry years was stupid.

I loved it, altho I will admit, being 7, I was truley scared, really, I remeber keeping my Calender on the previous month that year cause Taker was on June I think, so I kept it on May till July, thats how scary I found him, lol

I thought it was great. I liked when he used to ramble out those satanic-like chants. Good stuff!!

I loved Taker & the Ministry, the stuff they did was so cool to watch at the time. Looking back at it, can see how people would think it was silly or whatever but remembering how exciting it was to tune in to see what would happen next is what makes me still love it.

Definitely revolutionary--at least as far as 'dark' character gimmicks go. That's the Undertaker I knew and loved growing up though, so I'm sure I'm a bit biased.

I say both. He was doing things that have never been done before....but I mean, kidnappings, unholy weddings, blood sharing ceremonies, crucifixions.......things that you just wouldn't believe now and people had a hard time believing back then as well.
But at the time it worked and was really entertaining.
