This one goes out to all the old timers out there who lived through and loved 80's Pro Wrestling.
My favorite was NWA JCP from 85 to 89.
Greatest time in wrestling history even though is was tough for a kid growing up in WWF country (10 minutes from NYC).

Jim Crockett from 1985-1989 and then WWF from 1989-1992 were the greatest times ever

NWA. I had to wake up at 2 AM Saturday mornings to watch it. Our first VCR was too damned complicated to figure out how to program it. I'm glad I recorded the countless hours of it when I did. It's so much better than the stuff now.

Was born in 87, so my first memories of wrestling really aren't until 89 and at that time I was a Little Warrior more than I was a Little Stinger, so WWF gets my vote.... Something tells me if I was born earlier in the decade tho, NWA would have been my promotion of choice.

No Love for AWA or World Class I see. Keep it coming my friends. I loved both the AWA amd WCCW, but NWA was where it was happening. I also loved the other areas like GWF, USWA, and the UWF. During that time period you really had a lot of great options. Truly, the best time to be a wrestling fan. I am pretty sure that wrestling will never be as big and interesting as it was from 85-95. Some really great memories.......

I was a huge WWF fan at the time, but I don't think you can beat JCP from 85-89. Classic stuff.

That's pretty tough.
I would say 1980-81 AWA, 1982-84 WCCW, 85-87 NWA, 88-89 WWF.

No Love for AWA or World Class I see. Keep it coming my friends. Until I got WWE On Demand I had never seen a AWA or World Class show. Neither of which were on TV when I was home....Well WCCW we didnt get, I think AWA was on ESPN but I wasnt home when it was on. The closest I got was GWF but that was much later on.

We didn't get TBS until the mid 90's so it was like other promotions didn't exist, other than WWF. Well, that and Stampede of course. I'm not even certain that you could get any information on NWA other than from the magazines, but they weren't as shiny as the WWF mag, so I never looked.
