them big figures look like they are made by toybiz. they made z-men figures that look just like the figure and the box are the same with even some of the same color patterns.

It probably is the hardest to find. I only remember seeing one in the past couple of years.

As mentioned above, the Series 1 blue Flair is the probably the toughest to find, BUT I GOT ONE IN THE MAIL TODAY! There are details about this figure on page one of the thread. Only a few more items and I believe I will ahve the entire line.

i have a few that survived thru the years, and passsed them to my son. i had so many of the old wcw and wwf figures. and the blue wwf ring, wcw ring from this era, and a bootleg ring that had soundbox and acted as a carrying case. attached a pic of what is still around from wcw.

Can anyone elaborate to me how the wcw toy line went through out it's history? I'm really into collecting macho man figures right now, and I'm curious how their toy line went.
Thanks!

I just picked up an OSFTM Sting on eBay. Anyone know more specifically what series it is from? It's the one with the blue tights and a purpleish scorpion on the right leg and blue, yellow, and the same purpleish color face paint and yellow boots. I would snap a pic but my parents took my camera when they went on vacation.

If you will see page three of this thread, I believe you will note that the figure you describe is from the first series. It does not specify the first series on the package, but the second and third do.

I have been on the fence recently about starting a new wrestling figure collection. I was debating on WCW Toybiz or WWF LJN....After reading this thread, I decided to settle in the middle and collect the WCW OSFTM figures. A nice combo of both. lol
I went crazy on Ebay today and purchased 13 different figures to jumpstart my collection. I will post pics in this thread when they arrive and see if I can generate some more interest in this thread seeing that no one has posted in it since Jan 17th of this year.

I was in my parents' attic today and found 3 or 4 of these MOC. I remember seeing Vader and Johnny B Badd. But I can't remember if there was a Sting, Flair, or Jimmy Hart... or all 3. I left them up there cuz I was digging out the few Hasbro MOCs I have.

I'm so jealous of that collection, damn, lol. I have all of the last series loose, wish I kept them in the packages though, oh well.

Dude This is great. Can't wait to see more pics
My Collection was The First Hogan, The Purple Flair, The First Nasty Boys I have to look to see if they have the tats or not. Vader I think the first one. & The Entrance Gear Sting. I had the ring. But I always thought the ropes were weak no matter what figures you tried to use with it. I still got the stairs. The Battery died & I painted them black they look better black.
They stand good to me just like some of the WWE LJN. Depending on who you have they could be top heavy. The Ones I have stand great. I passed them down to my daughter & she plays with them in the tub.
Was never a fan of them myself cause you couldn't really wrestle a good match with them.

I liked the red suit Jimmy Hart the best from this line, I still cannot find one MOC!
