How many teams in these leagues?
On the first team...
It started off so strong, but it just fell apart at the wide receivers. What happened here? How was Hines Ward the best available WR when you drafted? It seems like after the Pierre Thomas pick, there should have been guys like Steve Smith [NYG], Steve Smith [CAR], Michael Crabtree, Chad Ochocinco, Dwayne Bowe, Mike Sims-Walker -- any of whom I like more than Hines Ward. You should've also passed on Tony Gonzalez to select another receiver like Pierre Garcon, Percy Harvin, Donald Driver, Malcom Floyd; while waiting a couple rounds to draft a TE like Zach Miller or even Kellen Winslow.
On the second team...
I like this team even less than the first. I think your strategy of going RB/RB/RB with your first three picks is going to bite you in the ass at some point, because your WR depth is absolutely terrible. I don't see any of the receivers on your bench as being potential starters this season in anything but 14-or-more team leagues. Also, Matt Ryan is a notoriously mediocre fantasy option. Your RB depth is really good, but I'm not sure that it will be enough to make your team competitive.

The first team was 8 teams, the second was 12.

The first team is worse than I thought, then, and the second team is a little better than I thought -- but you're still in for a long season, in my opinion.
In the first league, who did you take in rounds 5-8?
If I'm predicting correctly, it must've went...
1. Ray Rice 2. Shonn Greene 3. Pierre Thomas 4. Matt Schaub 5. Hines Ward? 6. Tony Gonzalez? 7. CJ Spiller? 8. Percy Harvin?
Ward's ADP is 59 right now in 8-team leagues, which means he shouldn't be going any higher than the 8th round.
CJ Spiller's ADP is 64, so he should be going in the 8th round, too.
Tony Gonzalez's is 68, so he should be going in the 8th-9th round.
Why did you reach on all of these guys?

Yah, for an 8 team league your team should be much better than that. Your 12 team league isn't horrible imo, but it could be much better too

I took Spiller 2nd to last round. I took Schaub 2nd, I'm high on him, Greene 3rd, Ward 4th, Thomas 5th, Gonzalez 6th, then Harvin. As you can see I'm horrible in fantasy football, hopefully I'll do better in the WF league.

I think you just need to pay more attention to these players' average draft positions. Just because you like a guy doesn't mean you should be taking him 4 rounds before anyone else will take him. ... Then again, if CJ Spiller fell to the 2nd to last round, I have no idea what kind of crackhead-filled league you're in. I just got pulled into the work fantasy league at the last second, I'm drafting soon, I'll update with my team once I'm done drafting. I'm going with 4 fantasy teams this year. :/
It's an 8 team league, I got the 8th pick.

Four teams? Try nine. That's how many I have this year, not including 'free' leagues.

QB Eli Manning RB Michael Turner RB Frank Gore RB/WR Jonathan Stewart WR Calvin Johnson WR Marques Colston TE Kellen Winslow DST Saints K Matt Praeter
Bench Steve Smith (Panthers) Bench Wes Welker Bench Jerome Harrison Bench Laurence Maroney Bench Bernard Berrian Bench Owen Daniels Bench Matthew Stafford
Definitley my best draft so far. At the 8th pick in an 8 team league, getting Turner to end the 1st round and Gore to start the 2nd round is great.
Rate my team.
