I've just started collecting these guys again, haven't since they were first out.

It was a strangely small line with how many re-releases they did. Especially strange because of how hugely popular WCW was to have so few figures come from it.

It always looked to me like the figures on ring that showed Sting and Hollywood Hogan were non-moving prototypes? Anyone agree?

I wish they would have released those.

Also...does anyone know if these guys were to scale with each other when they went from rubber/hard plastic to moving toys?

I do not have any photos of them side by side, but the rubber ones were about 1/2 - 1" shorter than an LJN, which if it was 8" you would be at 7 - 7 1/2". The main figures that you could pose were 6" and 4 1/2" as I recall. The vibrating ones were probably closer to the size of the rubber ones.

I just seen a yellow sting which looks like purple boots on the back of the card of him in a cage with hogan was this ever realesed?

I have redone my photos from page 3 of the WCW and ECW figures and playsets since they were wiped out from what I had on page 3. I also had not updated it since 2010, so it was due. I believe that I am only missing the Hero Head Hogan and two 4 1/2" figures of Goldberg and Scott Steiner with stickers (if they exist - I have been collecting these since 2005 and have never seen them).

Thanks. There are still plenty of loose ones out there. They are about 1/2 a head shorter than the LJN figures.

Thanks to you also. It was a struggle getting these back on. I have appreciated when others have posted their collections. It is so much better to be able to see them all at once instead of a couple at a time and this way it is makes a good reference point for collectors.

Black Jimmy isn't the holy grail of the line. There's one piece almost impossible to get.

A clue is: it's someone who Jimmy worked very closely with in the wrestling biz.

I'm guessing it's either flair in blue sting in pink or the yellow prototype shown in the advertisement add or lex luger but more than most likely my money is on it being yellow pants and purple boots sting

Nope not Flair w/blue trunks; there's a decent amount out there (10-20) at least. Not Sting as this figure was not available to the mass public. This guy was on retail shelves, very, very briefly.
