I never had the blue Bloods when they first came out.I really wanted them too but never showed up in the stores here.Great price for yours.
Eaton was more known as the Midnight Express with Lane and Condrey. He aslo won the TV title for a while.

I really like this line with the exception of the lack of different figures. They basically kept re-releasing the same ones just with different color trunks, etc. They didn't even change the pose for most of them.

I am trying to find out exactly how many figures were released in the Nitro "Heels/Faces" series, but I can't seem to find any precise information. So far I have found 11, which seems like an odd number, and most of them are all heels.

The "Nitro" series did have 11. The only 3 on "Babyface" cards were Knobbs, Sags and The Giant (also released on a "Heel" card).

Awesome post! Had a few of these, but never really got that into them. Didn't like the fact they had no articulation, but regardless of how I feel about them it doesn't make your post any less awesome.

I guess these figs were like WCW's version of WWF LJN figures -big & bulky with no articulation. I didn't like them much when they came out, but was such a WCW mark, I bought all I could find. I found most at Roses, a cheap, rinky-dink department store where you can currently find several "bootleg" style wrestling figures which have been discussed here in the past.

They weren't quite as heavy as the LJN's and being hard plastic they didn't move But on the plus side, the paint didn't fall off as bad as the LJN's either.

I ended up buying someone out on 12 carded figures of the WCW OSFTM Blue Bloods figures. Most of the cards are damaged, though. I had planned on selling these at indy shows this winter & the flea market this summer. If anyone is interested in these for their collection, please let me know. Thanks, dmsouther www.myspace.com/heritagecollectibles

There was also a 2 pack that came with two Sting figures. They were the same mold and one was black and white and the other was red and black. I believe these were KB Toys exclusive, as were the Nitro Babyfaces/Heels series. At least that's the only mass retail store I ever saw them.
I always found it interesting that they screwed up the names on both Harlem Heat and Nasty Boys in the Nitro series. I never noticed until now that Sullivan's figure actually says "Taskmasker" instead of "Taskmaster".
Did anyone else have trouble with paint coming off of the back of their figures when they were removed from the package with the first few series? The paint would stick to the carding. This is especially noticeable on my Vader, Johnny B. Badd and Craig Pittman.

Thanks for the thread and the pics. My favorite figures from this line were the Harlem Heat Double Pack in red attire.

So you're telling me that after all these years, that Booker T I thought I had is actually a Stevie Ray?

I've just started collecting these MOC. I was wondering if anyone has or could provide the following
- A price guide - A list of the figures made - Which are the rarest and most sought after?
This would help me out greately.
