Things are so busy for me right now, guys. I'm sorry we haven't been able to have a chat.
However, I think any Mattel figure that has been made should be on the market for a roster. A rost can have a maximum of 25, but a minimum of 15. You are good for any style of figure. (Elite, Basic, etc.) However, one person cannot be in two federations. The only exception is the overall Champion and Tag Champs.
Also, I've done some thinking. Since I don't know when I can have chat, I'd figure I'd post my pick for figures, and then if you guys had any guys you wanted, just tell me and they're all yours. I'm just getting this out of the way so we don't have to struggle to find the time to hold a draft. I'm wanting to make SECW (SouthEast Championship Wrestling) a mostly-Legends federation. Which means I'll be using mostly Legends figures. I thought it'd be a good idea not only for me, but for you guys as well, because I'm sure you guys have more Mattel figs than me, and you can have more guys to choose from amongst yourselves.
Non-Legends that I would like to have:
The Miz
Zack Ryder (He's rumored for an upcoming Elite Series)
Dolph Ziggler
Jericho
Goldust
Hurricane
R-Truth
Kane
William Regal
Sheamus
If you guys have a from that list that you want, just let me know, and I'll plan on excluding him from my fed. Just an idea, if you guys don't like that, just let me know, and I'll change it no problem. I just kind've wanted to give you guys an idea of who I wanted. But if any of those guys are a problem, just let me know.

does 20 work for a roster size?
i'm trying to figure out how to decide who gets first pick, i figure a draft is the fairest way, as we are all going to have a few guys that someone else wants etc....
what if we all pick a number between 1-50, and have deskjet or someone go to a random number generator and post the result here, closest gets first pick, second closest goes next, etc...then flip the order.
is that cool with everyone?

It works for me. We just need to get it started.
If we can't find time for a draft, we need to find a way to create rosters and then trade superstars afterwards. In order to do it fairly, we'd have to draw to see who went first, second, and so on. Then we'd post our ideal rosters in that order. Then trades, and other deals could be made after that.
I agree that a draft would be the fairest method, but if we can't get everyone together...then we need an alternative.

That would work for me. We just need to do it. Is it just me, you and champ? Sick and Hart Attack were supposed to be involved. But I haven't seen Hart Attack on here in forever. |

The only downside with that is the same person gets first pick in every round. So each pick means more. A real Draft goes like so:
Round #1
Pick #1 - Fed A
Pick #2 - Fed B
Pick #3 - Fed C
Pick #4 - Fed D
Round #2
Pick #1 - Fed D
Pick #2 - Fed C
Pick #3 - Fed B
Pick #4 - Fed A
Round #3
Pick #1 - Fed A
Pick #2 - Fed B
Pick #3 - Fed C
Pick #4 - Fed D
Round #4
Pick #1 - Fed D
Pick #2 - Fed C
Pick #3 - Fed B
Pick #4 - Fed A
and so on.
The cool part. Is people could all be drafted then the champions are named so some feds don't have as many ppl and they lose a guy to the whole territories. I think it's a sick idea. That way of draft is much more fair so the dude with the first pick has the 8th pick, 9th pick, 16th pick and so on.

Each member will have 24 hours after the previous pick to make their next selection. After 15 rounds, a 24 hour period will be open to finalize your roster with your remaining 5 superstars. I think we said that you must have 20 superstars on your roster. Also, we need to determine the overall name. I like the Mattel Wrestling Alliance, but it's up to you guys. So, if this is good with everyone, we'll begin the draft tomorrow night at midnight. |

Plus, just to clear something up:
You can select any Mattel figure that has already been made, or is going to be made...as long as you have 20 superstars on your roster.
You have until October 31st to submit your first show. It doesn't necessarily have to be an episode, but you need to have a press conference or hype show by then.

You can pick within that day. You don't have to wait 24 hours, that's just the maximum time allowed. Haha sorry Champ, we just wanted to get started. And yeah, that's how we're doing it. also, where do customs fall? on my 20 man roster, or extra spots? They can go wherever you want. The way I look at it, the more customs you pick, the more guys for me.  Also, we need an overall Governor over all the territories to kind've keep an eye on things and schedule events and such. I can do it, or somebody else wants to, we can hold a vote. We also need an on-camera authority figure for each fed, as well as the overall territory. The authority figure for the overall MWA should represent the chosen Governor. |

i'd love to write the backstory for this, if everyone is cool with that...
also, i don't think we need an overall governor, just each territory needs its own head, and overall governer makes it seem like the wwe.
i mean, i think we should just do things by vote, working together...
