Figures, I decide to go to RAW on whim and it's one of the worst in WWE history. Highlights of the night: - All the "Daniel Bryan" chants that broke out, during commercial breaks. - The dad who was chanting "Cena sucks!" with us. While his child would chant "Cena!". Eventually he told his son to shut up... jokingly, of course. - The young black kid, with a high pitch voice. Outside, waiting for the wrestlers, yelling their names. Such as: Yelling "Kelly Kelly!" over and over again, at Eve. Someone corrected him, then he went on to yelling "Eve!". Yelling "Soshi Yatsu!" at Yoshi Tatsu. Seeing Maryse and Brie Bella talking and saying "Oh no, they not suppose to be friends!"... and finally, referring to Natalya as "Hey, that's the girl with the Hart Dynasty!"... poor Nattie. If you can't tell, it was an awfully boring event. If it were for those humorous thing occurring, it would've been worse. - Triple S Meh, I enjoyed myself. I haven't been to Raw since 7.18.2005, and I decided to treat myself to a trip up for the show. I guess I'm alone here in saying that I don't find the show - as a whole - to be as bad as everyone on here is making it out to be. This show wasn't bad either.

I remember like 3 weeks ago ? when Matt Hardy was making his taunt in the backstage , before he fought McIntyre you could hear that lil black kid [ That was yelling all night like a ing intellectually- disabled person things that didn't make sence] JEFFF HARDYYYY JEFFFFF HARDDYYYYYYYYY! ! ! ! ! ! ...

Really man?
- Long opener, just to hype up Money in the Bank. - Hart Dynasty match? Nope, just a beat-down... that leads to nothing. - Kozlov squashes Santino, then saves him. ( So, here we've had a good 30-45 minutes, without a SINGLE good wrestling match. ) - Zombie announces MITB participants, because they're running out of time to build this PPV. Much like they did with Fatal 4-Way. ( Going on a full hour, without a good wrestling match. ) - Sheamus beats Henry, in a glorified squash. Point being...? Oh yeah, all the good talent was being saved for the main event. - Nexus attack "Legends". ( I use that term, VERY loosely. ) ( So, here we are. A good hour and 20 minutes into the show, with ONE terrible match. ) - Throw away Divas Tag Team match. Slight "Daniel Bryan" and "Maryse" chants, helped me live through this match. - Pretty good main event, with Orton getting the quick win. I now know about his apparent neck injury, so it makes a little more sense.
Seriously, 2+ hours and ONE good match and ONE bad match. The rest was all dialogue and throw away joke programming. One of this worst RAWs in recent history. Especially following up 2 GREAT weeks of RAW.
- Triple S

I agree, it was a bad RAW but not every RAW can be good, last weeks was amazing..best RAW I watched in almost a year.
Next week theres no guest host so I would imagine it will be better.

Raw is weird ... one week its good , one week its bad , ohhh wait two weeks good , one week bad etc ... Anyway this Raw would have been good if Cena and Sheamus would have had a match agaisnt Nexus or if the GM would have been revealed ... and the fact that when I was watching I see the ''legends'' in the ring talking , being attack COMMERCIAL BREAK , Highlight of what just happen , see I dont remember who going to backstage on a stretcher COMMERCIAL BREAK , ''were back live to monday night raw with josh matthew after that VICIOUS attack from nexus [Hightlight of the attack] '' Ohh now a diva match GREAT -.-'' but like said above the chants made me pass through the match and the main event was ... good but why did they do this , this week they could have waited till the week of the ppv for the hype now what can they do to make this PPV look awesome ? Make a revenge of those 2 teams ? Anyway not the best RAW ive seen...

That RAW was pretty awful. Ugh. It's really so hard for me to enjoy anymore. Same here. I wait for Raw each monday night and make sure I dont miss the beginning and then I'm usually dissapointed anyway. Much like how I'll probably be dissapointed with who the new GM will be. Why cant I enjoy wrestling anymore? Plus the Cubs lost. Bad monday for me.

Could it be an ex WWE superstar- The Rock? since it's summer time, ya never know who it might be. Could it be that guy who got released? I don't know who it could be for it to matter anymore than just another random celeb guest host.

Could it be no one but the creative team until they decide to reveal it (unless they end up stopping the storyline and assume we forget, they've done that before), and make a game time decision as to who it "was" all this time

I've been to really shitty cards with no great matches and still had a decent time. he said he hasn't been to RAW in almost five years. I can see where he's coming from.

I never said he can't have a positive opinion of the show/event, so don't act like I did. Thanks. I was just a little shocked, as the majority of the reaction when leaving... was "Wow! That show sucked. Where was all the wrestling?" Even during the show ( especially the aftermath of the NXT 7 beatdown ), lots of people were yelling "Where's the matches!?" It's aggravating to go to a WRESTLING show and see 1 1/2 decent matches, within a 3 hour span. Whether it's entertainment or not, it's still World WRESTLING Entertainment. Pretty sad that the best match of the night was a match taped for Superstars... which wasn't even THAT great, in itself. Thanks God I could come home and watch El Generico vs. Tyler Black, on ROH on HDNet. That gave me my wrestling fix, for the night. Biggest face pop: Randy Orton. Biggest heel heat: Sheamus, with NXT 7 coming at a close second. - Triple S

Gonna sound pretty weird, but I tune into RAW not expecting much wrestling but anticipating the promos and storyline build up/advancement. So when I see at least 1 good match and all the guys I like to see (Bourne, Jericho, Morrison) on the show, I'm pretty satisfied. :-P

I get my wrestling fix from TNA! -giggles.

Put a scrawny guy who does a bunch of flips in front of the average WWE fan and you have yourself a star. Scrawny? Really?!? Because Evan Bourne looks about four times more cut up/fit than any human being I know. Just cause he isn't freakishly roided beyond belief. This is also not true- Jimmy Wang Yang and Shannon Moore never really got over, with their never-ending flippiness. Yang was well over - they wasted him.

I got a pretty awesome text from a friend during Raw last night.
"I've been watching wrestling my whole life and I have no understanding of like anything that happened tonight. Why was the mitb briefcase there? Why was the cage there? Why is the gm anonymous? Why is Michael Cole the official email guy? How did the mitb guys get picked? Why was maryse with Ted? What's a 'megamatch'? Why did Regal attack Santino? Why did Santino wanna tag with Koslov? Why did Koslov protect him? Why am I watching this?

At least not the last few weeks of his life. Because a great deal of that makes sense.
