Marufuji is my friend. I can say that wholeheartedly. We’ve done a lot together. I had his return match in December. One of the best matches of my life.
Even though I’m 2 years older than him, he’s been wrestling 7 years longer than me. He’s done everything I’ve dreamed of doing, and he is very much something of a mentor to me.
He is acting differently, but he’s the champion. He’s trying to protect himself. People may call him a coward, but I know who he is. Again, he is my friend and mentor, I know he’s there for me, and I’ll be there for him, I have no doubt about it, no matter how he’s acting now that he has the title.
I’m there for him, and I will be next week. I know he’s there for me, and he will be next week too.
- Koji Kanemoto is signed on for the full tour, as he heads into his title shot against Unified Junior Heavyweight Champion Fujita Jr. Hayato! Next week, he teams with his GEN protégé Chris Prospect to battle Hayato and Kota Ibushi.
- KUSHIDA, representing SMASH, will be used sporadically throughout the tour. GATTACA is very excited to be able to use the great, up and coming talent that KUSHIDA has displayed in the past.
- Marufuji will NOT defend the title this tour, but will next tour, possibly against an un-named All Japan representative.

I love the tournament rules. Did you make that up or is that something legitimate? Justin Tyger better be in the tournament and win.

GATTACA: PRO, “EUGENICS 11” 7/24/10 (Samurai! TV) Shibukawa Movement Park Gymnasium
1. Kyosuke Sasaki [FUTEN] beat Takashi Okita (7:34) with a Cross Armbreaker 2. Katsuhiko Nakajima, Kento Miyahara, Satoshi Kajiwara beat Kenny Omega, KUSHIDA [SMASH], Shota Takanishi (11:42) when Nakajima used a Death Roll on KUSHIDA 3. Shuhei Taniguchi, Justin Tyger, Kazuchika Okada beat Manabu Soya, Fale Simitaitoko, Mike Knox (9:11) when Tyger used a Northern Lights Bomb on Fale 4. Bati-Bati Style: Katsuyori Shibata and Ryuji Hijikata beat Masayuki Kono and Munenori Sawa (13:20) by Submission (Hijikata defeated Sawa with a Front Sleeper Hold) 5. Special Tag Match: Koji Kanemoto [NJPW] and Chris Prospect beat Fujita Jr. Hayato and Kota Ibushi (16:06) when Kanemoto used an Ankle Hold on Hayato 6. Daisuke Sekimoto and Kentaro Shiga [FREE] vs. Naomichi Marufuji and Atsushi Aoki (10:22) went to a No Contest
- In the opening match, we saw Kyosuke Sasaki make short work of the Kensuke Office kid Takashi Okita, making Okita tap to the Cross Armbreaker.
- KUSHIDA made his debut tonight, representing SMASH, teaming with Kenny Omega and Shota Takanishi, taking on the Kensuke Office trio of Katsuhiko Nakajima, Kento Miyahara, and Satoshi Kajiwara. KUSHIDA didn’t have the luck he wanted, as he fell to Nakajima’s Death Roll.
- Former BURNING teammates Shuhei Taniguchi and Justin Tyger reunited tonight, teaming with Kazuchika Okada, to battle Manabu Soya, Fale Simitaitoko, and Mike Knox. Early in the match, Knox went crazy on all of his opponents, throwing, slamming, and punching all three around, before a double team from Taniguchi and Tyger sent him reeling into his corner, causing Soya to tag in, charging in, and hitting the two with Lariats. As Soya went to pick Tyger up, Okada came out of nowhere with a Missile Dropkick, sending Soya rolling back, as Knox ran back in, tackling Okada out of the ring, before he charged Taniguchi, who sent him down and with double leg takedown, before Fale tagged in, running at Tyger, attacking his back, before slamming him down, locking in the Crab Hold! As Tyger reached and clawed for the ropes, Okada ran in, dropkicking Fale, as Soya ran and speared Okada, as Fale recovered, and lifted up Tyger for a Double Arm Backbreaker, but Tyger slid out of it, and hit Fale with a Northern Lights Bomb for the win!
- In a Bati-Bati Style match, Ryuji Hijikata continued his streak of dominance after abandoning the Toshizo mask, teaming with Katsuyori Shibata to fight Masayuki Kono and Munenori Sawa. Hijikata controlled Sawa throughout the match, before finally tapping him out with a Front Sleeper Hold.
- Koji Kanemoto is here! The legend teamed with his protégé Chris Prospect to battle Fujita Jr. Hayato, the Unified Junior Heavyweight Champion, and Kota Ibushi. The four battled all out, never letting up on one another, before Hayato hit a huge Helm on Kanemoto! Before Hayato could pin him, Prospect charged in with a huge knee, sending Hayato back, as Ibushi spring boarded in, dropkicking Prospect out of the ring. Kanemoto staggered up, and kicked Ibushi multiple times, before one final kick sent Ibushi out of the ring. With Kanemoto distracted, Hayato rolled up Kanemoto, but Kanemoto rolled out, and kicked Hayato in the head, before locking in an Ankle Hold, and made the champion tap out! As Kanemoto and Prospect celebrated, Hayato sat in amazement, not comprehending his loss, before storming away, as Ibushi slowly followed.
- In the main event, we saw Atsushi Aoki put all of his trust in his ‘friend’, the Heavyweight Champion Naomichi Marufuji, as they faced Daisuke Sekimoto and Kentaro Shiga, and for Aoki, it paid off, for the first few minutes at least, as they worked as the cohesive team that we have seen before, until the worst happened. As Aoki was getting tossed around by Sekimoto, Aoki reached out for a tag, which received a stare from Marufuji, who slowly backed away, as Aoki slowly raised up, in glaring shock, that quickly turned to anger…. Before he snapped! He charged the corner, and grabbed Marufuji by his hair, and tossed him in the ring! He pushed Sekimoto away, as he manhandled Marufuji in his intense rage! Aoki threw a seemingly endless string of kicks, punches, knees, and Brainbusters on Marufuji, who laid motionless. Aoki grabbed Marufuji’s arm, and locked in a tight Cross Armbreaker! Aoki wrenched and wrenched, as Marufuji tapped as much as he could but it meant nothing, as Aoki held on for dear life! As referees, medics, trainers, all tried to peel him off, before he finally left go, standing in the middle of the madness, until he pushed everyone to the side, and hit another Brainbuster, before walking off, leaving Marufuji in a heap!

I’m an idiot for trusting Marufuji. That’s my fault. I’ve learned from mistakes before, and this is the same thing. Ever trusting Marufuji was a complete mistake.
Marufuji, I showed you why it’s not a good idea to cross me. Not a good idea at all, but that is just a taste of what I am going to do to you. I am formally challenging you. Not for your title. I don’t want your title. I want you destroy you. I don’t care what happens to your title.
I just want to end you.

DVDs, Youtube, their websites, SSS, Purolove, and research, basically. Been following since 2007, and there's so much I still don't know. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- If Aoki wants me, after what he did to me, he's on. He thinks he'll end me? No one can. I'm the best in GATTACA: PRO. Aoki might have gotten the best of me for one night..... One night, but he will never again.

GATTACA: PRO, “EUGENICS 12” 7/26/10 (Youtube) Kurakata Sports Hall
1. Fale Simitaitoko beat Takashi Okita (7:11) with a Crab Hold 2. Kazuchika Okada vs. Manabu Soya (15:00) when to a Time Limit Draw 3. Fujita Jr. Hayato, Munenori Sawa, Shota Takanishi beat Katsuhiko Nakajima, Chris Prospect, Kenny Omega (12:42) when Hayato used a Helm on Omega 4. Katsuyori Shibata beat Mike Knox (9:53) with a Penalty Kick 5. Bati-Bati Style: Koji Kanemoto [NJPW] beat Kota Ibushi (10:25) by Submission (Ankle Hold) 6. Special Tag Match: Daisuke Sekimoto and Shuhei Taniguchi beat Justin Tyger and Taiyo Kea [AJPW] (14:33) when Sekimoto used a German Suplex Hold on Kea 7. Masayuki Kono and Atsushi Aoki vs. Naomichi Marufuji and Ryuji Hijikata (8:41) went to a Draw (Double Countout)
- Fale Simitaitoko picks up another win! This time, he defeated the Kensuke Office kid, Takashi Okita, with his Crab Hold.
- Kazuchika Okada and Manabu Soya both have something to prove. The two fought every moment of the match, fighting through the pain the felt taking each other’s biggest moves. In the final seconds of their match, Soya hit a huge Lariat that sent Okada reeling, but before he could react, the bell rang, and called an end to the match! As Okada slowly gained his composure, Soya stood catching his breath. As the two came face to face, Soya held up a finger, signaling he wanted one more, before Okada nodded his head, and they shook hands.
- Coming off another loss to Kanemoto, Fujita Jr. Hayato, the Unified Junior Heavyweight Champion, feels he needs to recover, and recover fast. Tonight, he teamed with Munenori Sawa and Shota Takanishi, to fight Kenny Omega, and two men who haven’t teamed in months. Former 3 time Tag Team Champions, Katsuhiko Nakajima and Chris Prospect! While rocky at first, the two showed they haven’t skipped a beat as a team, double teaming and controlling Takanishi, but that was all put to an end, when Hayato made his point know, tagging in and throwing all three of his opponents around, finally hitting a hard Helm on Omega, ending the match. After, while Hayato savored the victory, Nakajima and Prospect stared off for a moment, before shaking hands.
- Bruiser Brody who? In the wildest brawl in recent memory, Mike Knox and Katsuyori Shibata threw more kicks and chairs than anyone could count. At one point, Knox went to hit Shibata with a chair, but Shibata ducked, and proceeded to ram the chair into Knox’s face with a knee, busting open the big man! As Knox staggered for a moment, Shibata sent him to the ground with a kick to the stomach! Before the referee could count both of them out, Shibata rolled in the ring, as Knox slowly crawled in, and was met with a knee to the head, which sent him crumpling to the mat. As he slowly got to his knees, he was hit by a huge Penalty Kick, which was enough to end the match!
- In a match originally scheduled for the GEN Junior Heavyweight Championship months ago before the closure of GEN, Koji Kanemoto met the former champion Kota Ibushi in a Bati-Bati Style match. Ibushi put up a great effort against the legendary junior, but couldn’t find a way out of Kanemoto’s Ankle Hold, which was enough to finish the night for Ibushi, causing him to tap out. After the match, the two shook hands.
- Daisuke Sekimoto and Shuhei Taniguchi teamed up, to battle the All Japan Unified Tag Team Champions, Taiyo Kea, and Taniguchi’s former BURNING stablemate, Justin Tyger. The four men battled relentlessly, with Sekimoto no doubt letting out some anger and frustration towards Marufuji out on Tyger and Kea. In something some may consider a surprise, Sekimoto hit Kea with a German Suplex Hold for the win! After the match, Sekimoto stood up in celebration, before he grabbed Kea and Tyger’s title, and stood with them, before handing them to the team, and slyly smiling.
- Atsushi Aoki is another name that’s out for Naomichi Marufuji’s blood. Tonight, he teamed with Masayuki Kono, to face Marufuji and Ryuji Hijikata. For the entire match, we saw Aoki and Kono throw Hijikata around, before he charged, and tagged out to Marufuji, who stood in shock, as he began to back up, as Aoki stood in a football stance, ready to charge! Marufuji tried to get in the ring several times, but every time, he backed away. As Aoki’s face got even more red with anger, Marufuji waved away the match, and walked off. Before he could leave the arena, Aoki charged, and dove over the ropes, landing on Marufuji! The two traded punches , and brawled around the arena, leading to a double countout! Aoki didn’t let up on Marufuji, cutting Marufuji’s attempts to run off down, until finally Marufuji wormed his way away from Aoki and ran to the back, as Aoki soon followed!

Fujita Jr's team getting the win is a hit-miss situation for me, I enjoy Fujita's work but I also really enjoy Kenny Omega and Nakajima. I am sure it would have been a fun match none the less. Nice to see Mike Knox getting some respect in the write up, was a decent talent in WWE that people pushed to the side because he was presumed as the typical big guy Vince likes. Main event sounded fun, if not a tad bit short in time. Double count out finish is unique though.
One of the better writing styles on the sims board in my opinion.

Jun Akiyama and Taiyo Kea Announced For IDEOLOGY!
Akiyama - I pledged to help GATTACA when it began, and so far I really haven't done anything. I plan on changing that now. I see no better way to help GATTACA, than to win this tournament, and take Marufuji's title. I think Marufuji losing is what everyone wants to see, and I see no better way to get my ultimate revenge on Marufuji than to do so.
Block A: - Mike Knox - Masayuki Kono - Kazuchika Okada - Daisuke Sekimoto - Taiyo Kea [AJPW]
Block B: - Katsuyori Shibata - Manabu Soya - Shuhei Taniguchi - Justin Tyger - Jun Akiyama [NOAH]

GATTACA: PRO, “EUGENICS 13” 7/28/10 (Youtube) Kajima Municipal Gymnasium
1. Kota Ibushi, Kenny Omega, Kentaro Shiga [FREE] beat Takashi Okita, Kento Miyahara, Satoshi Kajiwara (9:12) when Ibushi used a Phoenix Splash on Kajiwara 2. Katsuhiko Nakajima beat Shota Takanishi (11:52) with an R-15 3. Shuhei Taniguchi and Kazuchika Okada beat Katsuyori Shibata and Manabu Soya (12:23) when Taniguchi used a Fisherman’s Suplex on Soya 4. Masayuki Kono beat Justin Tyger (13:21) with a Kneedrop 5. Bati-Bati Style: Koji Kanemoto [NJPW] beat Munenori Sawa (16:01) by KO (Head Kick) 6. Naomichi Marufuji, Ryuji Hijikata, Fujita Jr. Hayato beat Daisuke Sekimoto, Atsushi Aoki, Chris Prospect (14:00) when Marufuji used a Tiger Flowsion on Prospect - One half of the All Japan Unified Tag Team Champions, Justin Tyger, battled Masayuki Kono. After he and Taiyo Kea lost to Daisuke Sekimoto, Tyger needed to prove himself against Sekimoto’s known tag partner. Although he fought hard, Tyger came up on the short end of a Kono Kneedrop. After the match, Sekimoto walked to the ring, before he and Kono challenged Tyger and Kea for their titles, which Tyger agreed. - Munenori Sawa, Fujita Jr. Hayato’s tag team partner, is perhaps the closest person to Hayato in GATTACA. Tonight, he faced the man that will challenge Hayato for his Unified Junior Heavyweight Title, Koji Kanemoto. The two threw more slaps and kicks than imaginable, but neither man backed down no matter how much punishment was dished out, but no matter how much Sawa soldiered on, in the end, all it took was a swift head kick from Kanemoto to end the match.
- Apparently, something in his head snapped, as Naomichi Marufuji didn’t back down at all tonight. He teamed with Ryuji Hijikata and Fujita Jr. Hayato to face Daisuke Sekimoto, Atsushi Aoki, and Chris Prospect. While never in the ring with Sekimoto, Marufuji fought almost valiantly against Aoki and Prospect. Although, when Sekimoto did get tagged in, Marufuji did hustle to his corner an tag Hijikata in, but still showed a slight advancement in his demeanor. Marufuji ended the match, hitting his Tiger Flowsion on Prospect for the win. After the match, Marufuji stood tall with his title, before Sekimoto walked up, and stared at the title, and at Marufuji, who returned the stare, before they both backed up and walked away.

I'm not all familiar with the majority of the roster, but just the overall presentation of the diary is great. I love your write-ups, your graphics and how I know you are one of the most knowledgeable people on WF when it comes to Puro, so I know that you are pushing the right guys and putting the right guys over. I've been following this for awhile, but I've never got around to writing a reply up as I know it will suck (just like this one).

this is probably one of my favourite diaries on the board, really caught my eye and is partly the reason i decided to give diaries a try so kudos to you sir.
i love how well thought out it is, the presentation is excellent. love the picture use, the layout (which is why i shamelessly stole it for my triple a diary -- full credit to you).
the ideology tournament (great name btw) has a really strong lineup (even if i do only know about 6 of the 10 people in it) and i think you're doing a great job of making this accessible to people who aren't familiar with puro.
really enjoyable stuff man.

- Kenta Kakinuma is returning! After suffering a back injury at the hands of Fale Simitaitoko nearly 2 months ago, Kakinuma is ready to return. Kakinuma is said to be heavier than what he was when he fell to the injury, and has filled out very well. “In a weird way, getting hurt was a blessing, because I had that break, and focused solely on training, and have gained a great amount of muscle mass and speed. I think that the new me will become a great challenge in GATTACA in the future,” Kakinuma said.
- Takashi Okita has decided to graduate to the Heavyweight Division! Okita will participate in a 10 match Rush Series to celebrate the move. In the 1st, he will face Manabu Soya. Okita said, “I’m tired of always being in the shadow of Nakajima. I will step out and become something else, and do what he can’t, compete with the heavyweights.”
- All Japan is invading! Former Triple Crown Champion Suwama, KAI, and Seiya Sanada are coming, and look to prove themselves and their promotion when they face Katsuyori Shibata, former GEN Junior Heavyweight Champion Kota Ibushi, and Kenny Omega. “GATTACA: PRO is a blossoming promotion, it’s very good.” KAI said, “but All Japan is better. I’ve pinned their ace junior, Chris Prospect, twice now, Ibushi won’t be any more hard. Neither will Omega, who hasn’t barely done anything in his career. Suwama will not only show Shibata how much better than him he is, but how he not only fails in MMA, but fails at pro wrestling.”
- After pinning both Kea and Tyger, Daisuke Sekimoto and Masayuki Kono want a shot at the All Japan Unified Tag Team Titles. Taiyo Kea and Justin Tyger will try to defend for the second time since winning the titles. “Daisuke Sekimoto us a future champion,” Tyger said, “It’s only a matter of time before he wins it. Once he gets his chance he’ll take it easily, but he and Kono can’t take the tag titles that easily. They have to not only go through me, but my great friend for years Taiyo Kea. We have more experience and a better friendship than they do, and I think that will be a major deciding factor.”
- Jun Akiyama is returning! The former GHC and GEN Heavyweight Champion will team with fellow 90s All Japan star Kentaro Shiga to battle Akiyama’s protégé Shuhei Taniguchi and Kazuchika Okada. “This is a huge chance for me and Okada. Akiyama has taught me a lot….. Maybe too much, and he’ll find out when me, and Okada, do I best to take him down, and prove myself to not only him and the fans, but to myself. I’ve had a great year thus far, but I can‘t quit trying now. I need to constantly keep improving no matter what.”
- In a grudge match between two former friends and tag partners, the Heavyweight Champion Naomichi Marufuji and Atsushi Aoki in a non-title match. Aoki put all his trust in Marufuji, and was shown a fool when Marufuji left him in the ring. Aoki didn’t seem like the fool for long, as moments after Marufuji tried to abandon him, Aoki snapped, and attacked Marufuji unmercilessly until pulled apart by trainers and referees. Marufuji responded to this by giving his best performance since winning the title, pinning Chris Prospect in a 6-Man that included Aoki and Marufuji’s arch rival, Daisuke Sekimoto. The two will battle one-on-one, leaving no one for Marufuji to hide behind. “I made a mistake trusting Marufuji. I’ll show him I’ll never make that mistake again. I’ll show him, and everyone, that it’s my time, when I pin the Heavyweight Champion. I don’t care about his title. I just want to end him and his reign. Then, I’ll make my plans against either Hayato or Kanemoto for the Junior Title, a title I’ll more than deserve after I pin Marufuji,” Aoki said.
- Koji Kanemoto is coming, and he has gold in mind, as he faces the Unified Junior Heavyweight Champion, Fujita Jr. Hayato, for the third time. Kanemoto has defeated Hayato in both of their encounters, and plans to make it a third time. Hayato, on the other hand, looks to keep his title, and make the third time the charm in defeating the legend, “Kanemoto has beat me, I acknowledge that, but I’ve become the Unified Junior Heavyweight Champion since then. I’ve gotten better since then. What has Kanemoto done? He’s is very great, and is a legend, but he’s getting older… Gotten slower… Had knee surgery… He’s not getting any better. I believe that I am now better than he is, and I’ll show that when I do beat him.”
