I'd say The Killer Bees and King Kong Bundy/Big John Studd. Both teams should have held tag gold at some point for sure.

The two teams that always come to mind first for me are the Fabulous Rougeau Brothers and the Killer Bees.

The Rockers Twin Towers Powers of Pain Bret & Owen Hart Owen Hart & Jim Neidhart (during Owen's heel run)
Probably the only teams I can really think of that surprisingly never held WWF Tag Team gold.

Test and Albert easily could have held the belts in 2000. 100% agree ^ The Rockers are the standout team to me for sure. They were one of my favorites as A kid and still cant believe they didnt grab the gold (I do understand the reasoning of The Hart Foundation though). others would be... The Islanders Twin Towers Bushwackers T&A (as above) Terry & Dory Funk Jr King Kong Bundy & Big John Studd (how didnt they?!)

I always was disappointed that T&A never held the straps.

For me the greatest duo to challenge for world tag gold on a number of occassions was Ric Flair and Arn Amderson. Flair and Anderson vs Doom for the titles in 90. Actually an all out feud. Flair and Anderson vs Hollywood Blondes in 93. A great fued as well. Flair and Anderson vs Sting and Lex Luger in 96. And someone may have to help me here but didn't they face Meng and Barbarian a couple times in 96 as well? At any rate they managed to be best friends and stable mates for years and years yet never held the gold together. Up until last year I really thought HHH and HBK were gonna wind up the same way.
As far as WWF goes I figure Powers of Pain ,DOA, and the Rougeau Bros would have all been prime candidates at one point or another.

Rockers and Power & Glory are my two biggest surprises. Both teams should have had a run. Even as a kid, I loved Roma & Hercules together.

Teams I would have like to have seen hold the titles: The Twin Towers The Rockers The Powers of Pain Power and Glory The Fabulous Rougeaus Out of all those, I think The Rockers deserved them the most... I can't believe as huge as they were; Vince never gave them a recognized title run We have a winner!

I think the Orient Express would have been fun with an angle involving Mr. Fuji and Demolition...

They needed a NWA or WCW Tag run. Even if only for a few weeks.

its a pity Power and Glory were turned into Jobbers.with Romas natural arrogance they had potential as a great heel team IMO
