Kurt Angle vs Samoa Joe - Genesis 2006 When Angle left WWE i had no idea he'd go to TNA and when i heard he had signed, i was like ANGLE/JOE NEEDS TO HAPPEN. low and behold, Angle's first night in TNA he butts Samoa Joe and opens him the hard way, I loved the hype around this match, this was back when Joe was unstoppable and had his 18 month undefeated streak, they had a really good 20/30 minute match.

Ric Flair vs Vader -- Starrcade '93
Career versus title, and the two brought out the very best in each other. The whole match is amazing, and the finish is plausible and executed extremely well. Did I mention the event was also held in Ric Flair's home town of Charlotte, North Carolina? So the crowd is HOT! Really, I can't say enough about this match without seeming like a huge mark.

as a kid i remember thinking wow, this guy really is the best. i knew he was the big deal where he came from but coming to the wwf and winning the title like that confirmed everything for me. i'll say the dog collar match from starrcade Piper vs. Valentine. what an awesome part of the event that they had the chain in the hallway before hand so the fans could feel the actual collars and chain being used in the match as they walked in.

Well, I've been watching wrestling for about 25 years and for the last 23 (when my parents got our first VCR) I've watched atleast one match a day.
Too many great matches to narrow down.
