Hey guys . I am getting ready to animate.
I Have troubles with string
I dont know where to put it. If anyone knows where to put string for the lower part of the body that would be great if they can take a picture and show me where to wrap the string around. Thanks guys.

Foe me, legs and the head. Btw do you use string or fishing line? Fishing line is better because it can blend in with the background considering what colour you pick.

yeah wat arrow said string works good to but it have to be the same color as the background but i use fishing line

I put my string around the legs and around the shoulders to gain more control of the figure. I advise you to get Fishing string because its hard unlike thread its easy to rip and when it does, it ruins the animation but overall its you choice. But I prefer Fishing string even though I have some but I dont use it because im usto thread now. But it doesnt matter what one you get, when you get usto it you will find it easier but it will take time, patience and practice.

Honestly it depends on the move, and my metheds are different then others so stating how I do it, might just worsen things for you.

TO KY97, Don't use LKS's method, his method is one of those things where it sounds easy and better, but it doesn't work for most people. I'd recommend just using the regular method that 90% of animators use. |

You, KY, are my new fav animator just for the Detroit Tigers avatar... JK. Anyways, what i do is i take the string and hold both ends, then i wrap the cirle i made around the legs or head

You could always try firedath's method  ...Just try the basic way of having one piece around the head and the other around the feet like put the string around were foot bends, but it does depend on the move, you will pick some stuff up the more you use string |

 The wrap around the shoulder method works for me greatly. But when i come to moving the legs i need to find a easy way to have it stay in place ya know? |
