I was (and really still am) a Sega guy, so I didn't get to play that version of Power Rangers until well into my teen years. The Genesis version was a fighting game. It had the Green Ranger. That was about all going for it. The Sega CD version was an FMV game which means it was TOTALLY awesome.

I remember as a kid, I beat the SNES version. Not sure which one, but it was a side scrolling "Beat 'em up".

I've only played the Game Gear version. I picked up Super Legends on DS a while back hoping it had the same spark, but alas, the controls were too confusing for my simple mind. I got stuck on the first Megazord battle and haven't played it since.

This game kicks ass, there was another one I think its Power Rangers the movie, and there was a fighting game Power Ranger I think it's this one.

the only game i played hundreds of times, and beat as many times too, is the movie game on genesis, it's another childhood memorie to cherrish for sure, altho i can say the same thign for just power rangers in general not just the game, i was a big pr nut ( still a fan,tbh ) but back to the games, so yes i did play the snes game a few times but i never owned it myself so i don't know it as well as the sega one, but i remember liking it very much tho....only played that fighting game once i believe and well,it was just kinda dull, sure it was fun for 10 minutes but when you have street fighter 2 and feel like fighting, sf wins every time... supposedly there was even a tird snes game based on zeo ( i think) rangers but i never, ever, saw it anywhere, i just know it exists that's it. i did have a pr game on my old game boy but the memories of that one are very vague, i think it was also based on the movie, and from what i remember it as fun.

I had a Sega Megadrive so I only played the PR movie game and the normal Power Ranger fighting game.
Both were amazing games but the PR Movie game was great because it was a 2 player side scorolling beat em up. Great fun

Good times. Ahh man, this game WAS the crap back in the day, I use to rent this all the time and play it, finally I just owned it right when they were fixing to release the N64 and then I just never played it ever again. But it was pretty fun.

Wow, this thread is almost a year old. Kinda awesome tbh.
The SNES game that I just played for the first time a couple of years ago is decent, I don't like how it's strictly 2D, unlike other great beat em ups like the TMNT of Streets of Rage games where you can walk on a few different layers of the ground... it just makes it more interesting (and easier to dodge at that).
The Genesis MMPR game, the fighter, for what it is, is actually pretty sweet. I like how it has the Green Ranger and zords involved.
I can't comment on either of the movie games, I have the Sega one but kinda quickly packed it into my attic and never played it for that long.

Ha I never had this game back in the day but I got it on ebay a month or so ago and it is cool.
Would have been a lot better back then but still nice to play if I ever felt the urge.
