Kofi and Christian won't be main eventing and fighting over the world title at the PPV. Only one of them will, the one that doesn't win the belt... which more than likely will be Christian.
Show would have already had his match, which he will more than likely lose. So the fatal four way match will most likely be Swagger vs Christian/Kofi vs MVP vs Rey/Punk. I don't see how it's laughable, MVP isn't fighting over the midcard title, like the IWC's cream-dream, Christian is. And everybody seems so high on him getting a main event push.

I just find it hilarious how Christian is the supposed "lock" for it, and here he'll be either holding the midcard title this time next week... or jobbing to Kofi Kingston. It's the same with Money in the Bank. Anytime Christian is in it, he's a "lock" to win it. Yes, I've said that MVP would win it numerous times, but I've backed it up with my points. MVP was the only guy who wasn't busy. Fact. My point for Swagger was "he hasn't been built up enough for a world title", but here we are. |

All Ive seen are posts that the only believable contender's on SD! are Swagger, Christian, Rey, Kofi, Show, and maybe Taker but he's gone. Hell jsyn ill even give you that MVP could be thrown in there barely. But of the people on those list, why would you pick MVP over Christian. You really think people would care more for a MVP/Swagger feud more than a Christian/Swagger feud. Neither look like big name PPV selling matches, but people have been behind Christian for a while. |

It won't happen. Matt Hardy deserves a title too. I mean, how many times did he say he was going to win it? It's the same thing. And you can't gaurantee anything. From what I'm hearing, MVP gets the same pop and sometimes bigger that Christian does. Hell I remember a Superstars ep a few weeks back, when he out-popped him. Please don't tell me they're going to put the Intercontinental Title on Christian again, they really need to just give him some good high profile personal fueds, and not make him a boring IC Champ like he used to be.

No, you're worse... to think MVP is remotely over enough to be next in line to face Swagger is absurd. You act as if fighting over the mid card title regulates said person defending it or fighting over it to just doing that. Which is not the case, I think the Miz could prove that. When is the last time he defended his U.S title? In two weeks we will see a new I-C champ right? Well, that will be the end of the line as far as the I-C title goes for a while. If anything I can see Kane getting the Nod to go after Swagger next. Kane does lke putting over the other talent at this stage in his career. At fatal four way I think you will see... Kane, Swagger, Show...and ... Now, if Christian for some odd reason does not get the I-C title but feuds with Kofi, it will be to push a heel turn. Which I do not see. |

Whoever wins next week, I hope they actually make utilize, like ACTUALLY defend the title on every PPV, not every 2 ppvs. Maybe even get in a feud.
For the main-event, I'd like to see Kane in the mix, but that's just me.

There won't be a new IC Champ next week. D-Mac will do something to screw it up and re-involve himself, he's not going anywhere.
I, too, hope this is just something to keep Christian busy until Big Show jobs to Swagger. He's been mentioning the WHC in all his promos, both on TV and the backstage ones, so we'll see.
Let's not forget, both Rey Mysterio and Jericho have held the title within the last year.
It's not a big deal if he jobs to any of those mid-card guys to give them a strong win before he moves on. It won't make him look weak if he were to lose to Kofi. It only will to Drew if he gets squashed, which wouldn't surprise me but I don't think so.
As far as MVP goes, he's not as over as Christian, plain and simple. He may get huge pops in some places but you can tell just by how he's booked and as much as they try to make the playmaker look good, he's not thought of very highly right now.
Bottom line, MVP was the biggest draft pick last year and this year he moved in the supplemental draft to not a whole lot of reaction. Christian was a main draft pick. It's pretty simple. Smackdown's a good place for MVP but they tried him out on Raw and he's not working as well, whereas Christian's working well everywhere right now...
