As of late, there has been a noticeable decline in pic fed matches, shows, discussion, etc. At first, I assumed that school work and personal life was to blame. But after some thought one can conclude that lack of time is not the culprit. I thoroughly believe that it is a lack of interest by some people, and a lack of effort on my part. As mod, I believe that I should be very active, something I have failed at recently.
I appreciate all of the hard work and dedication that the majority of you are putting in. I am so proud to be a part of this board. I just don't want to see it fail after flourishing a month or two ago. I think we just need to pick things up. I am opening the floor to all of you, in need of suggestions and ideas that could revamp this amazing board.
Personally, I think that the magazine is a great way to get everyone involved. Joint pay-per-views are always fun, but after the Aftershock failure, I am a bit iffy about that idea. Any more suggestions, folks?

I sent you a personal message a couple of days ago, i thought that maybe we could use this idea for a future pic fed event, have a look and tell me what you think, thanks .

What about a huge Tournament of all the Pic Fedders of current and past that will agree to it to determine the best Pic Fedder/Pic Fed of all-time? We could try and seed them based on opinions on here, and basically do an NCAA Bracket type-Tournament.

I think that joint ppv's work, i think it was a timing thing, like, to put it about a month after the last one, especially with spring break, made it tough
I think the mag is still a phenominal idea...and I am bring my fed to town after my aftershock match, as it is my debut
another thought...would having a second mod help? another in charge person to help be active, along with you?

I'm still trying to get my Aftershock match done this week. My problem is that its baseball season and I'm on 2 teams, so I'm out most of the week.

Same here dude. I'm working on Starrcade, but with athletics, church, and music and stuff it's hard to find the time. My show should be up within the next couple of weeks. Also, I'm making a new site so the pictures will work.
Even though I'm new to the board, I can see the decline too. Seeing the board a few months ago is what finally got me motivated to finally make a Pic Fed. I really hope that we can restore that 'feel' the board had, and I hope I can help make that happen.

I've been working on VCW sorry about no replies though being in 12th grade, school is crazy hard right now. Plus throw in Baseball and social life, then Family, kinda busy, as pic fedding does take some time.

If I can chime in with some ideas. I really think that joint PPVs are bad ideas. While it does cut down on how much you have to film, it also puts people on a deadline and that can and has been known to make people rush or just not bother all together. I think relaxing "standards" a bit more would help also. Instead of needing X amount of matches to be considered a show maybe do more storyline building through promos. They're usually easier and faster to do and you can get the same point across.
Another big thing is replies. I know everyone wants everybody to reply to shows but one of main reasons I stopped doing shows is that I honestly dont have time to sit down and watch peoples shows for x amount of time. Its one thing to breeze though and reply in the sports board or WWE board but watching a match, viewing pics and reading the commentary is time consuming. I understand that its not "fair" for those that work hard but we shouldnt be doing pic feds for replies in my opinion, we should do them because we like doing them and enjoy having fun. I know personally I never could care if I got 5 or 50 replies to my show as long as I had a good time doing it.

i wanted a second mod during the most recent modship i had on here, and i was basically told the board isnt busy enough to warrant two mods, so i doubt will be able to get one of them now.
the magazine was a great idea, and should happen every month. ill run it if you want?

Yes I have also noticed the decline and lack of activity on this board. Recently I have been working hard on the 30th episode of Raw so bare with me on that haha.
Maybe as LA Lakers fan said, we should have one huge tournament with past and present pic fedders, I know for a fact I will be joining in with that one.

Reading the other replies re-assures me that Pic-Feds are work. The filming takes a while, the replies are managable, but the uploading(and the commentary, structure allignment etc.) takes a toll on your interest. Honestly, I still think people are busy with filming, but hey, if we can at least work on ideas to liven up the Board, I'm all for it.

There's no need to worry at all IMO. Summer's just rolling in, and most people's social lives pick up around this time ( at least in my experience.) Come July, this place will be on fire I'm sure. End of school, and Freedomania time as well, which always sees the pic fed board bring the best they have. As well, a magazine would be a good idea, but we don't have enough going on at the moment to warrant one IMO. Seasonal joint shows would be good, it'd give everyone a good 3 months to film, edit, commentate and all that. We have a lot of new talent coming in, and some veterans moving away from us, maybe we're in a transitional time, which could explain this place being pretty quiet. Either way, I'd be sad to see pic fedding to remain like this, which is why I hope so very much business picks up soon.

i appreciate all of the feedback guys. with all of these replies, i can see that people are still interested in pic fedding and the state of this board. "hopefully, things will pick up" is not a good way to approach this situation though. sure, with time things may pick up, but we could make it even better by making an effort to get things rolling. i like some of the suggestions that were made and i will get back to you guys on some of them by the end of this week. thanks! more comments are appreciated.
as far as AFTERSHOCK goes, i don't believe it will be a competition. i will just make it a joint ppv with the few matches i do have. that will be posted this sunday.

It's been a combo of alot of things for me, but honestly, I dont have it in me anymore. I would like to see some newer feds and other members really step up and inject this board with some life, but honestly it is extremely time consuming, so undertand. There's nothing like coming home from a busy day knowing you gotta put a show together then turn around and have a few people reply( not talking from personal experience). It's work and it's something ya gotta want to do and stay committed to, and that takes everyone on board. If just a few are on board then you're gonna end up with what we have now. I know everyone is working hard and trying to do what they can but there's still, I feel, just a lack of overall support as a whole. And honestly, no one can do anything about that but you guys. I dont know when the last time was that I replied or when the next time will be but, hopefully a new guard comes in and takes this board to the next level.
wwefan, I dont think you can put the blame on you becasue you've done all you can, now it's time for everyone to step up that wants to be a part of the board, and do so with as much consistency as your time allows. Part of it starts with replies or being part of the pic fedding world more then just posting in the discussion thread or talking about your fed. There were about 10 people signed up to do the pic fed magazine and about 4 ended up doing it. This is what I mean. You cant have this type of inconsistency with replies, support, involvement, etc and expect the board to stay hoppin like it once was. It was boomin a few months ago cause everyone was on board and excited and committed. Now it's hit a lull again, and that'll happen from time to time. But in those moments we need a core group of dedicated fedders to keep the boat afloat. Again, I'm hoping this happens. Who wants it?
Just a little peptalk from dad, again ;D

It's a shame that more people didn't hand in for the event, I get that we all have life's and all but if your not completely sure that you will be able to hand in you shouldn't sign up. That's the reason that I don't sign up for those kinds of things because I know I wouldn't hand in.
In terms of improving the boards, I say only have the competitive, match shows (Head to head ect.) during the holiday period with the card fully stacked out and in between have the joint PPVs. As for the big tournament, of course it sounds like a good idea in theory but I think you'll find that a lot of people will make a one time big return only to not hand in - that's what I've learned from things like this in the past from other boards but it may be different here so who knows.
Hope it all picks up soon.
