Looks like a Smackdown full of Promos tbh, although the Edge and Christian one sounds pretty good. I guess the split the two up to hold of an Edge and Christian Match until Wrestlemania.
I always prefer Big Show as a Main Eventer. I hope he wins the World Heavyweight Championship and has a long, long run with it.

I like Big Show but he should be a heel on Smackdown, SD has too many faces.
Seems like kind of a throwaway post-draft show. E&C seg should be cool, I like the potential of a Punk/MVP feud

just read the ending...no edge/christian main event  Yeah, Edge didn't have a match on Raw either. He doesn't have to wrestle every show. Cena didn't wrestle on Raw either. |

To Be Honest, unless theirs more next week with Edge and Christian.... I dont really see them continuing a feud. I think it was just a goodbye for Edge and a quick Pop for Christian scaring him off.

So Shows face now? Anyway im glad hes back in the title chase but I hope Swgger holds on until Fatal-4-Way.
Also good to see Cody's back, Hope Chavo dosnt get buried as much as he did and can get over, and matt hardy better come back to attack mcintyre. -_-

Man, it sounds awesome. Christian/Edge segment should be good, I'm looking forward to Show vs Swagger too. I doubt Show would take the Gutwrench after what Nash did to him in WCW, but it would be awesome to see. This gives Swagger's reign more credibility (if he wins), so I'm all for it. Also MVP is already getting used better. And he's actually ON this show. Jericho always puts young guys over.
I really hope they don't mess this show up. They don't need any huge main eventers on it (besides Taker and Show).

I love heel Edge and all, but I really hope he didnt actually run way form Christian. I want him to be a badass heel not a wimpy one. But anyway seems like a solid episode of Smackdown, Big Show as #1 Contender is kinda lame but hey hes a veteran that will do his best to get Swagger over.

Heres the detailed fan report on the Edge/Christian promo for those who cant wait for Friday
After that was the segment of the night between edge and christian. Edge came down first to give his farewell to smackdown. Claiming he felt like it was always HIS show, and that he loved the fans. Christian then came down and he and Edge had some good luck exchanges in dialogue before Christian said that since he's known Edge for so long that he knew he was lying. He was lying about loving the fans. Edge then pulls his heel turn by saying that Christian was right and that he's a master psychologist and had the fans eating out of his hand with the whole spear, spear, spear thing.
During the course of the promo they said about people wanting Edge and Christian reunions, but Christian said he did not want that. He didn't want Edge & Christian, he wanted Edge versus Christian. Edge said no, and after some minor physical confrontation Edge escaped the ring. Christian then said instead of saying spear, spear, spear that he had a new saying. Then he started the "na na na na hey hey goodbye" stuff to which the audience reacted well.

The young talent is taking the reigns on Smackdown, I like it. Would have liked to see Morrison>Rhodes though.

Build up to Christian/Edge eventually..... But it got Edge over as a heel and Christian over as a Face even more. Awesome.

In all seriousness, Show being the No.1 contender is awesome. Always been a big Show fan (no pun intended), although i'm not sure how well a match between Swagger & Show will go.

Well, I saw the first part of the Edge/Christian thing on youtube. WWE pulled the next part. Anyway, it looks good. Ok, the kid put it up. Kind of garbled, but Edge is interviewd backstage and gets into it with the Big Show and Show punches him out.

The Edge/Christian promo is kind of epic. The Fans really don't know whats going on until after Edge officially turns heel. They seem to think Christian's going to go Heel until Edge blatantly tells them he is the bad guy. Then Christian finally gets over as a face. Really awesome segment and got both over as Huge Face and Huge Heel!
