You've got to be kidding me. A tribute show to a death match wrestler, yet no tribute show to Luna Vachon or Skandor Akbar. Hell, you want someone current, Lance Cade. Some nobody shouldn't get a tribute show over two of the greats of this business and Lance Cade. Death match fighting isn't wrestling. It's appalling that anyone would consider someone hitting someone else over the head with a cement block or a weed whacker or light tubes wrestling. It's such a shame people to recognize real wrestling and just go for the crappy knock offs. Well, the one defense I would put in is that they're style of Pic Fedding is Deathmatch based, and while I know nothing about JC Bailey past his name, apparently he was a competitor in that genere, so it makes sense to do. I do understand about other Wrestlers, like Lance Cade and Luna, but too many Feds are simply a WWE-lite product, in terms of the Matches and storylines, so it becomes more difficult to say this person who Wrestled in normal Matches should get one, then the next week another person who passed away, known as a "Normal" Wrestler deserves one. I get and kind of agree with what you're saying, but it's easier to have a Tribute Show to someone who competed in a niche type of Match, when the same type of Wrestling is also a niche on here, as opposed to those who worked the enitre spectrum of Matches.

Luna was a woman. There's a niche match for ya. Women's matches. A whole show dedicated to women's wrestling.
I bet you there are about as many fans of women's wrestling as there are death match "wrestling," hell, maybe even more.

In other news, at the risk of sounding like this Boards most hated kind of person, sans a quick Interview and a Presser, Rush 4 is filmed, and it should be up by this time next week, then comes "Before The Beginning" and the actual PPV, "The Beginning".

If we put on a tribute show for everyone that died in wrestling all the time, each fed would get out about one show per year. JC Bailey was an indy worker and the fedders that have an indy fed feel strongly about doing a tribute show in dedication of him. I'm sure they are not disregarding the other deaths, but for them, this one hits a bit closer to home. I see nothing wrong with what they are doing and I support that. To everyone else: DO NOT FEED THE TROLLS! Dallas Cowboys and KTLA Fan: Lookin forward to rush

He did more then just death match wrestling, you know and maybe it's just me but I find it incredibly ignorant / disrespectful to be absolutely trashing someone who's dead and wasn't really (to my knowledge) that bad a person - I also don't see why you find it to be that big a deal, I mean it's a pic fed show and mind you maybe JC has more dedicated fans on this board then Luna Vachon or Skandor Akbar. Also, I've already filmed the next four episodes for my show, just need to edit them and I'll start posting them two weeks between each other.

I'd say the same thing if he was alive and you just wanted to celebrate his anniversary in the business or his birthday, I'd call his "wrestling" crap and death match "wrestling" crap.
Wrestling fans should know the history of the business and respect those who paved the way. Luna Vachon, Sherri Martel and Fabulous Moolah (and I'm sure those two also did not get a tribute show) paved the way for female's in the wrestling business. Why aren't we dedicating shows to those trailblazers? Instead we are going to have a tribute show to some guy who didn't pave the way for anybody and didn't make an impact on the world of pro wrestling as a whole.
If he were still alive, I'd still tell you he was a nobody that had no effect on wrestling as a whole.

I feel comments like that are a bit closeminded Slappy, which isn't what I'd expect from you, having been around on these boards for a while. We're doing the JC Bailey tribute show because, for me, a) he was in my federation, and i make a point of doing a tribute show for any wrestler I've had in my fed - see my Eddie Guerrerro tribute shows (Chris Benoit being an exception for obvious reasons). We aren't asking the rest of the board to come and pay tribute to JC Bailey, it's just us guys that have that sort of style in our feds, and featured the guy. I don't get the problem. The pic fed board as a whole is a very respectful place.

It's just I don't see how someone like Bailey can be more respected or mourned more than someone who changed the way women's wrestling operates and at the time and until recently the way managers worked.

I don't think anyone's saying Bailey is more respected or mourned more. We're just of a different era. Everyone is mourned in their own way, and it just happens that for guys like us who are big fans of CZW and IWA-MS and the like, losing JC Bailey is a big thing for us. It isn't a bigger loss than Moolah, or Luna Vachon, it's just "our" loss, if you understand. If Skandor Akbar, for example, had been a favourite wrestler of mine then for sure, I'd be holding a tribute show. Different strokes.

I understand if he is in your fed having a tribute show for him, I'm not saying you can't or shouldn't.
WWE has done tribute shows to three wrestlers who have passed while under contract to them, I understand that, because they worked for the WWE, so it'd be expected. The reasoning behind the third tribute show can be disputed, but it happened and we can't change that.
But other feds didn't come together with the WWE to orchestrate a business wide tribute show to those wrestlers.

Maybe you mis read what I said or vice versa but the first and last lines of your comment make no sense in reply to what I said. Also I ll say it again, this time in caps so you don't miss it HE NOR DOES ANY OTHER WRESTLER ONLY DO DEATH MATCHS. I don't care if you consider what he does to be crap, little to no one cares if you conider it crap, there's no need to mention it and Im sorry that I don't fit your cardboard cut out on what a wrestling fan should or should not like. No one has said or inclined that they do not respect those wrestlers, I have liked several wrestlers who have died since I started and i haven't had a tribute show for any of them, does that mean that I don't respect them? No it doesn't. It just so happens that JC had people on this board who were die hatd fans of his and wanted to male a show for him which will or will not happen dispite what you say, now drop this and stop trying to cause fights. That was in referance to the comment above your most recent btw.

I'm stating my opinion on the matter, if a fight happens, it is you who is bringing it on, not me. Just because a few people were fans of the guy doesn't mean he warrants a tribute show over someone else. As I said, if he was in your fed, have a tribute show for him fine, but big companies don't come together for a tribute show. TNA and the WWE and ROH, all on TV, aren't going to come together for a tribute show for some wrestler. They may have their own personal tribute show, but not a joint show.

Then let them do their show and be done with it. They do death match wrestling. A death match wrestler passed away. Hence these guys coming together to pay respect to him in the form of a show. I am sure if we had a guy who did all womens wrestling Luna would have had a show. I am sure if Lance Cade was in peoples show he would have had a tribute show. Just because no one does that Genere of wrestling or just blantanly does not pay respects in their show does not mean you need to come on here and force your opinions on people in a close minded way. A lot of the things you said were laced with Malice. We do not need those types on this board. Let them do it, do not give them a bunch of crapand move on. I think it is great they want to do this. Why don;t you say something to every one who did not put something about Lance Cade or Akbar at the start of their show. No, you want to trash these guys because death match wrestling is GARBAGE. I am not a fan of it, but I would not come on here and shove my opinions down the throats of others like you did. Who cares if big companys do not come together, this is the pic fed board. Where we come together to create a show with other feds in the times of tradagey if it warrants it. It is as simple as this: If you do not like it, do not watch it.

Well I did not know that this board frowned upon having an opinion.
I did not know that we had to kiss everyone's ass so we don't offend someone.

Well, when you come on here out of Malice trying to offend people, people take offense. You could have been a little more respectful. Can I ask you something? Are you the gay Slappy? And for the record, it's not called kissing ass, it is called being respectful and supportive of every ones artistic differences. We are a small community here, and show each other support. We are defined here by our unity.

Guys, lay off Slappy. If you read what he's saying, he makes a good point. I don't understand why one of the many WWE-lite feds that are about don't do tribute shows for guys that die. I just know that myself and the indy style types have came together to do a little something for a wrestler we enjoyed watching. That's all. No need to be bungholes about it, he made his point in an intelligent manner without resorting to swearing and cursing, like marc and sonofanarchy just did. Can't we all just get along?

I know where this is going and they are two completely different things. Saying someone was a crappy "wrestler" or some type of "wrestling" is crappy is or saying there should be tribute shows for wrestlers who were actual wrestlers or who made a difference in wrestling is different than using derogatory words towards a group of people. Sorry but you can't play that card, it won't work.
