Just wondering, anyone know how I could get a hold of Champ, the BWF dude? his AIM or MSN address will do (: I'll contribute whatever I want. If it causes trouble that is someone else's fault, because I'm not here to fight. If a fight breaks out, it's because someone complains about something I say and they start the arguing. All of you complaining about me being here are just dong so because I am not a pic fedder. If I had my own pic fed, you guys wouldn't mind one bit what I would say. |

Sometimes it is too "Rah-Rah" for certain things, and when a negative word is spoken, like it was with the whole Mattel thing, people go crazy since being negative in the Pic Fed Board is un-heard of. Not that I'm saying people should be mean "Just 'cause", or that everything should feature brutal honesty, but, I would agree with Slappy that sometimes it's too much "Yeah, good job, you'll do better next time" or "Well, not my cup of tea, but hope you guys have fun with it!" I'm guessing it's been that way because of the fear of being seen as a prick would equal little to no replies for your Show(s), which is understandable, but yeah, sometimes the kid gloves should be taken off, usually in debates/discussion. |

That's becasue this isn't a debate about stuff type of forum. It's a community of people that have like hobbies that come on here and try to support each other. We do our debating about other topics on the appropriate forums and we've tried to uphold the board as such. While we all have disagreements from time to time we MAKE AN EFFORT to make this place amicable. In other words, we check our attitudes at the door, and don't come in here looking to start trouble. That, in itself I think holds alot of virtue. It shows self control and respect for other people's work and creativity. Scrutiny is done through replies and is focused on the pic fed not other aspects of it that should be discussed on other boards, ie, whether or not someone should be paid tribute to on their show. We've all worked hard to build this board up and make it a welcoming environment. If you have a problem with being apart of that then maybe you're the one with the problem and not us. NOtice I didnt specify anyone, but if the shoe fits...

i dislike you very much, Slappy, and I believe you are a poison to this board.
while that statement may be honest, it is rude. there are better ways to say things to people. for example, during the draft, i stated "this was poorly executed". that is a negative criticism, but it was said in a respectful tone. i could have easily said "this sucks", but i chose not to.
it's all about choosing your words. Slappy, you are a complete and utter jerk. you disrespected a deceased man, and his many fans. there's no excuse for that.
