whats your favorite outing from the Rock?from any period in his career?
mine is Backlash 2000.for the second year in a row Backlash was a rematch and better than the WM main event.
I loved everything about this match........
1)the crowd were hot and the Rock was over like rover
2)HHH and the McMahons had heat(remember when heels had heat?)
3)The odds were SO against Rock
4)the anticipation for Austins return was mega
5)Austins return didnt hurt The Rocks victory
6)and of course the in-match action was excellent.
brilliance.what about you folks?

If Rock would have never faced Hogan at WM18, I honestly would not have a favorite Rock match. Nothing really stands out to me, especially not the match that killed the chair-shot forever.

Barenone, my absolute favorite rock match had to be a wrestlemania x8 were he faced hogan, that match was unbeilevable, teh crowd, the setting, the in ring work, it was prolly top 5 match ever in my opinion

Yes totally agree - I thoroughly enjoyed this match. The other Rock match I very much enjoyed was his Royal Rumble '99 I quit match with mankind - truly showed he had what it took to fight any sort of match and this was a brutal encounter - the over 15 chairshots was insane! |

Also enjoyed his match with Kurt Angle at No Mercy 2000.

He's had quite a few, but I must say I enjoyed his Ladder Match against Triple H at SummerSlam '98, his involvement in the Six-Pack Challenge at Unforgiven '99, and his losing effort against The Undertaker at King Of The Ring '99...Good times...

Yeah, this match made me a wrestling fan again! Rock had such charisma and attitude. Loved it! Of course, I remember the entire time wondering, How is this match going to end? I knew the Rock wouldn't quit; I knew for certain Foley wasn't going to quit. What an ending! Oh, man, it doesn't get better than that. |
