I did not care for him during his headshrinker days, but to be honest I stopped caring for him when he actually started to look like a Barbarian in the WWF. I was however a fan of his prior to that, especially during his run in the NWA and early into his WWF run as a member of The Powers of Pain.

I only really remember him from his WCW run, since I was so young when he had his runs in the WWF/NWA. I really liked him, him and Meng were my favorite tag team.

TBH, not so much. Even to this day, WWE still gets away with it. From Nic Nemeth, Kerwin White's caddy to NICKY!! of the Spirit Squad, and now Dolph Ziggler, or in the 90's Papa Shango eventually transformed into a pimp. And let us not forget about the late Brian Adams as Crush.

Well to the best my knowledge most Voodoo Priests usually evolve into Pimps after going through Ultimate Fighting Machine, and Black Panther phases. |

But....The Barbarian is samoan, I believe. Tongan, actually. He's been one of my favorites for a long time. The man was fantastic in the ring and very agile for someone so big. Faces of Fear where one of my favorite tag teams in WCW. Plus, if anyone gets the chance to meet him, take it. He's a class act. |

I was more pissed when he went to the lame WWF look post Powers of Pain. I hated that. He was so much more awesome when he looked like the lost cousin of Animal and Hawk when he was in Paul Jones' army

I wish the "new" Headshrinkers had gotten a better push. AT a time when tag teams were dying out, a feud with the Smoking Gunns would have been cool.
On a different note, why the HELL didn't Meng & The Barbarian win the WCW Tag Team Titles? Seriously if Bunkhouse Buck & Dirty Dick SLater won them, surely the Faces of Fear would have been granted a reign.
