Hey guys, first I wanted to say, some of you guys have awesome work done, some great artwork indeed. But I wanted to get your opinions, or well, experience is probably a better word to use. I don't have any tatts and don't plan on getting covered in them, however I am wanting to get atleast one, one to signify my straight edge lifestyle choice. I've chosen what I want and where I want it, similar to James Hart's (Eighteen Visions singer) straight edge chest tatt. (Though just one 'X', I'm not hard edge and no writing) So what I'm asking is; how much would you assume it'd cost, how long would you guess it'd take, and how painful are chest tatts? Thansk to any help

Sick ink work guys. I don't have any tattoos myself but lately I've gotten this idea in my head of wanting either a sleeve piece or just a big piece that goes from my waist and along my side to my neck. I definitely want to look into it within the next few years but obviously want to come up with some solid ideas first.

Good strategy Valbroski, that's the way to start out. Don't rush it. And that's not because you might regret a tattoo choice, I'm saying you might regret a tattoo placement. There's some prime real estate that you're going to want to have some sweet tattoos on. And Wells, yea, buddy.

I love my hand tattoos and don't regret them one bit.

He let me know he's going to want to do it again. No big deal. I like broken and beat up tattoos anyway, but I'll let him redo it just because he is a perfectionist. Probably heading back to the shop soon.

Someone help me out, I'm looking to buy some stuff for X-Mas gifts... and one of them is a pair of plugs, but I know NOTHING about piercings. Are double zero gauges abbreviated 00G? The site I want to purchase from has them specifically listed at "09.2mm ~ 00G" Maybe it's a really stupid question, but I don't wanna up, ya know?

I feel like placement would be easier to decide on than the actual design though because I'm not sure if I just create an idea than have an actual tattoo artist design it or create and design the idea myself. I'm in no rush though and think it could be a really fun project to take on in general.

My great grandfather passed this morning, so when I work up I went and got something done in his honor. He was a WWII Navy vet and worked on b-24s so I figured this would be fitting. Picture is blurry.

Picture is blurry. Sorry to hear about your grandfather Wells, keep your head up and stay strong. Love the pin up in his honor and memory. Came out great man Edit- just realized the plane in the background. Love the subtlety and shadow of it, really pulls the whole thing together.

I know every one has opinions on copycat tattoos but I wonder if I got Drug Free on my knuckles if that would be copy cating?

You get what's right for you, just think it out and think of long term careers and goals and if it will affect you. If its omething you want and are passionate about then go for it dude.

And Punk kinda got me the idea of getting it on my knuckle but I may get it in a different font.

Well, to be honest, as long as its not exactly the same font, i wouldnt necessarily see it as copycat
