Just got it today, so it's still real red. Looks very well done, man. You should post some new shots of it all healed up. I have a feeling I'm going to get my 4th tattoo soon. Getting the Sweeney Todd razor on the length of my forearm.

I'm sorry that i haven't been on much, i've not done tattoos fir a while, i have other artwork commitments.
Also, i'd like to remind people that yes, the old thread got closed due to being 'off topic' (althought thats debatable) but please remember we can talk about more than just upcoming tattoos in here, whether its about talking about favourite styles, tv shows or even looser subjects like other artwork, please feel free and safe to post it.
Thank you

Thank you I'm doing my best to keep it afloat. It feels like every time it sinks in the pages I'm the one shocking it back to life. While I'm in here, though, I'll make conversation by saying I prefer black and gray tattoos to color. I think people have awesome colored tattoos, but my preference for my body is colorless.

While I'm in here, though, I'll make conversation by saying I prefer black and gray tattoos to color. I think people have awesome colored tattoos, but my preference for my body is colorless. On the topic of color vs. black and gray (obviously I'm a color guy), can I just say what bugs the out of me? I know a lot of people with tattoos that have very minimal, or no color at all, and I get sick to death of them telling me how much they didn't hurt. My bomb and Leonardo ing KILLED me with pain. Sometimes I want to shake these people saying, "yeah dude, I've got this piece on me that's around that size, and it was a cakewalk." No **** mother er, it's line work and some shading, my two biggest colored tattoos had the line work laid down, then shading, and then had color laid on top of THAT, plus the skin around it, and then MORE color on top of that. My point is, I get tired of people that were barely touched by a machine telling me how easy it was for them. Not saying ANYTHING against you, it's just something that bugs me about a lot of people who get black and gray and are awfully smug about it.

My newest piece is nearly healed, still a little bit of bruising around the top, took 3 hours for my first sitting, back there on the 20th for the colour and to begin work on trhe dragon which will link up this piece and my lower forearm piece.
Will hopefully get around to posting pics today or tomorrow.

So i already have a half sleeve of some polynesian work with the Hawaiian Islands inside to represent Hawaii (who would've known). I have some ideas for my next tats. I want to either get a koi fish or a dragon down my calf with the rising sun behind it (sorta like the WWII japanese flag).
I was also thinking about getting like a king cobra or some bad ass snake somewhere with 89' (born the year of the snake) on it, but having a hard time thinking of where to put it. I was thinking the bicept, but im not big enough to put it there.

Hey guys, been gone a for bit. I should be getting back in the chair in the next 2 weeks to work on my leg some more, and I'll probably be chilling with the artist at a convention in Louisville on my birthday, where she's offered me a free session as a present.
I'm psyched.

Only got 2 tattoos... - Getting A cartoonized Chicago cityscape on my right forearm in August though... First one I got was last October and is A Batman logo... (Located on the back of my right arm above my elbow) The other one I just got last week, its just the Illinois state outline... (Located on the side of my left arm above the wrist) (the bandage is still on in this one as it was just under an hour of getting the tattoo) These tattoos are both from the famous "Native Rituals" in Oak Forest, Illinois (southwest suburbs of Chicago). If you know the place, My first tattoo (Batman) was done by Rich and the second (Illinois) done by Chris. I highly recommend this place as its the cleanest place i've ever seen and their service is outstanding. I know many people who have gotten tattooed there and many that keep getting tattooed there and not one complaint. Batman cost $100 and Illinois cost $60

FYI, if there are any tattoo magazine readers/collectors on here, I recommend picking up the newest issue of Inked - Avril Lavigne is on the cover (lame), BUT there is a piece on SuicideGirl "Radeo" in it. And it has some killer pics of her leg sleeve in it.

Although I may be 15 nearly 16, and legally can't get tattoo's, I still love coming to this thread and viewing all of your tattoo's. I've already basically got a good idea on the tattoo's I'm gonna get so I'm kind of excited. MichaelJGrady, I'm loving the Batman tat.

Should be getting my next tattoo in the next month or so, Just selling some stuff to get the money for it (:
I need it designed first though, and I also wondering how I can expand on my carnage tattoo 'cos I don't hate it or anything I just think it looks a bit lonely and would like to suround it with some form of chaos xD

In all seriousness, one of my bestfriends wants to get a cover up done at my shop, so in about four weeks we're supposed to go up there, and I'm FINALLY getting tattooed again.
Getting the old Praying Hands between my bomb and sugar skull.... Unless I decide to start a Lady of Guadalupe on the back of my forearm, going from wrist to elbow.
