It's just cool for me to see my idea finally becoming more than just ideas. I've had a few ideas floating around for a while, so it's cool seeing one (mostly) done and one in the works.
My first piece wasn't actually designed the way it is, the artist thought it looked really unfinished the way it was (pretty much just an outline) so he asked if he could throw some detail into some of the letters. I think it turned out well. Still seems unfinished to me though, I'm trying to think of how to highlight it.

Every day that I wake up, I realize I'm closer to something permanent in life. I'm so redic excited for this tattoo. It's almost as if you could call me a masochist for being so excited for pain. LOL is this normal?

was happy with the way it turned out. Gender symbol? Loving the facemask btw Bateman Thanks brother. Can someone draw something up I can put on my arm with my son's name on it. I would appreciateit very much. I was thinking maybe a half sleeve.

This is the first piece i had done when i turned 19. It was a custom draw up my uncle did for me who owns a tattoo place on Long Island called Station One Tattoo. A ton of meaning behind it as you can tell These are the 2nd and 3rd ones i had done. The symbol stands for destiny, which i believe is a huge thing in my life and everyone else's. Destiny brings you everything good/bad into your life and destiny is the thing that chooses to take them out or keep them in. About 2 weeks ago i decided the symbol wasnt enough, so i got it written above the symbol in old english, and love how it came out

the symbol... actually, means, life. Actually, life is the first symbol on this site: japanese.about.com/library/bl50kanji7_seishi.htmThe guy with the tattoo, as far as I have seen online, is right. It means, 'destiny'... but I don't write, or speak Japanese, so for all I know it could mean, "bed pan."

Well, if both languages share the same character, but mean something else in both languages too... you really shouldn't say, 'it means _____" and leave it at that.
I mean, you could, if you wanted to try and make the guy feel stupid, but that'd be a dick move.

well, actually i guess.. they could be used to different terms. like the symbol in the site you showed.. it means life too... but more in a spiritual sense.. for the lack of a better word. Life as in birth, associated with death. The other symbol, that Greatone has tattooed on his body.. is associated with living.
Making a dick move was never ever my intention.

Ahhh, see didn't know all of that. I just thought you were being all condescending and junk. My apologies, totally didn't mean to be a douche!
