Also the Kane/Khali/Koslov pic is second to last on the front page. Pics are huge so it may have just not loaded for you yet

Mattel > Jakks, swallow your pride and admit it. No. Let other people have their own opinion.

Although I'm a little disappointed that I won't get the bald Orton I've been craving I'm still getting him to stand next to my fully tattooed Jakks version. As same have already said, there are a few hit and miss scans but overall I think the ones I'll pick-up will look great in my collection (which is almost entirely RA). Any sign of the Mickie James figure? Thanks for posting the detailed pics.

Mattel > Jakks, swallow your pride and admit it. No. Let other people have their own opinion. Have your own opinion, but don't try to misquote me. Quote my whole post or none of it, because according to the facts I put forth, Mattel is better than Jakks and there's no denying it when looking at the facts. I never said you couldn't have your own opinion, like Jakks, I still do, I just think Mattel is much better, and there's a lot of things they've done even before their release dates to prove that.

Just when I thought I was done with wrestling figures, Mattel gives us an Elite Collection John Cena with a better headscan than any Cena head Jakks has given us since 2005.

This is weird. Most are absolutely incredible, yet Kozlov and Miz look totally off in the face. Carlito and Morrison don't quite look right either.

I don't get why some people are so surprised that not every Mattel figure is perfect. Jakks has been doing the scans for nearly 10 years, and they still have some terrible scans. Mattel's figures haven't even come out yet, and most absolutely destroy their Jakks' counterparts. Some of you guys need to quit whining and move on. Seriously...the same guys are in the same threads bashing Mattel over and over. I honestly don't understand what insight you think you are giving considering the ones criticizing don't even have the figures yet. Mattel makes the figures now. Get over it.

Those look fantastic. The Elite line is almost too good to be true.

In the Q and A session (which was pretty mediocre to be honest) Mattel said they want to get to every superstar, so yes all the divas too. but Beth was the only one made so far. Why? Im not sure.
They also mentioned they will be doing either a classic line or legends in the line somewhere. Some not so bright person (especially since it was not a little kid but an adult) asked when we'd see Hulk Hogan. And Mattel gave the PC slippery answer of "There are so many great legends to make, stay tuned to see some legends pop up in the future".

carlito's fro is the right size & his attire looks good, but the face is a big fat fail
which i'm happy about because it means i'm retired from collecting unless the classics lines come out with some serious stuff

I can't wait for these, damn. They look great, for once JTG has a rolled up leg, Carlito in pants, Morrison in tights with FUR, MVP's necklaces, cloth t-shirts instead of those HORRIBLE tucked into tights crap Jakks kept putting out. These blow Jakks off the stage!

I'm not an R-Truth fan but his figure looks pretty cool and dead on, same with Mark Henry. I am looking forward to getting my hands on that Christian, his figure looks greats and the Jericho figure looks fantastic as well, but I am a little dissapointed with the Randy Orton figure, maybe once I have it in my hands my mind will change but as for now it looks a little "eh"....

Wow, some great figures there. I can't get over the Orton ... it's just perfect. The body type is perfect, the scan is perfect. Awesome.
I'm happy we're finally getting an HBK in that attire ... JAKKS never really did it so thats great. So much detail on so many of these figures and I'm impressed.
The only thing I can say is that some of the scans are pretty awful and kiddy looking. On the other hand, a few of the scans look exceptional ... like Orton. His scan looks spot-on. Great figures.

Just my two cents (as one of Mattel's more vehement supporters):
Some good, some great, some passable, and some BLECH. The hats on the elites look a tad off - but it's tough to make removable hats for figures that keep their nice hat silhouette.
The two that stand out as the worst for me are Finlay and (unfortunately) Swagger. Mattel, for all of their custom tooling, needs to avoid giving barrel-chested, bulkier guys like Finlay the same torso as guys like Rhodes or Dibiase. That gets dangerously close to the Jakks way of doing things. Swagger's head looks like.... did they even use at least a PICTURE of Swagger for reference? Sucks for me - he was one I was looking forward to the most.
But this is incredible for their first showing. Out of the gate, these are already far and away better than what we've had for the past X years. Yeah, Jakks had some good head scans, but what does that matter when everyone is the same height and their heads are 2-3x bigger than they should be? Mattel's best days are ahead of them. They'll only get better (and that makes my wallet quake with fear).

Okay, quite honestly, those who think Jakks is the better company are in need of an eye exam. Seriously, I mean, sure Mattel's heads aren't perfect, but do we have to pull up some images from the BCA line? Mattel has already blown half of Jakks' heads out of the water. Now, let's take a look at the things Mattel has now given us and Jakks never did(and had ample time to): -Correct scale. -JTG's pant leg. -Morrison's pants. -Fully detailed Undertaker tattoos. -Primo Colon -A diva with her own sculpt. -Custom accessories(hats, for example) for each figure. -Kane w/correct boots. -Different sizes and shapes for kneepads and elbow pads... -Kanes, Jerichos, HBKs, etc. that have not violated the wellness policy. Seriously, go ahead and complain about headsculpts(regardless of them not being that bad and it being Mattel's first try) and 'big' shoulder joints, sure they are a bit big, but, really? Really? I'd take slightly bigger shoulder joints over a 7-foot Evan Bourne, or a Chris Jericho with 52 inch pythons. Mattel > Jakks, swallow your pride and admit it. It's like someone who's been eating poop their entire life and is served a filet mignon for the first time, then they try to say... It's alright but I still like poop tastes much better. Since you're such a Mattel homer now I will rebuttle your points in how Mattel apparently is the greatest company ever...everything in my own personal opinion of course, which I am allowed by law to have. First of all in NO WAY can you compare Mattel to the Jakks BCA or TTL figures. It was a completely different era. Technology was not the same. They didn't have "real-scan" back in 1996. Not to mention Jakks only did BCAs for about 3 years. Out of all the Mattel scans I've seen about 4 or 5 that are spot-on. Out of Jakks HISTORY of real-scans/sculpts I could probably find 5 that were garbage. -Correct scale. Yes its nice seeing such attention to those details. However, in Jakks case, alot of figures are...some aren't. Big Show is taller than Cena. Rey Mysterio is shorter than Batista. Bourne is as tall as Cena. It was a hit or miss. It just doesn't bother me. -JTG's pant leg. Jakks only released 3 JTG figures. It wasn't necessary to create an entirely new leg mold for ONE figure. If they were going to continue on past 2009 they probably would have released him like that but everyone would be bitching that its just a Cena left leg & a JTG right leg-Morrison's pants. Yeah, its a different attire. Welcome to the world of progression. It would have been done by Jakks too. Take a minute to look back at all of Morrison's Jakks figures. Most had different attires. They never made that specific one because they stopped making Morrison figures because they lost the WWE license.-Fully detailed Undertaker tattoos. Because Jakks gave Undertaker figures bare arms? All my Undertaker figures look just fine to me-Primo Colon If CARLITO'S figure warmed shelves....what do you think Primo's would do?? When is the last time Primo was on TV? My Jakks collection really doesn't feel empty without a Primo figure. He would have just ended up on my Future Endeavors shelf along with the likes of Simon Dean, Luther Reigns & The Basham Brothers -Custom accessories(hats, for example) for each figure. Besides hats...what else is there??? A Sledgehammer for HHH? Got it. A Pendant for Cena? Got it. 90% of Jakks' figures come with an accessory of sorts. Mattel gives you Display stands....and Undertaker gets his hat...wow. -Kane w/correct boots. Jakks did give him correct boots. The boots they gave Kane are the same boots they gave Finlay, Kozlov, HHH, Batista, I could go on.-Different sizes and shapes for kneepads and elbow pads... un-necessary detail. Since Mattel's figure arms are so skinny and skeleton-like, the elbowpads will just fall off anyway.-Kanes, Jerichos, HBKs, etc. that have not violated the wellness policy. Instead they have gone on Weight Watchers. I'm sorry but I'd rather have my wrestlers look muscular than anorexicand don't even start with the Elite line. Yes in detail, they are better than what Jakks did. They also are going to cost $20. If you wanted cloth shirts to come with every single wrestling figure you have to PAY for it. You think Jakks would just release all these extras and the figures would stay $9.99?? Gimme a break. They'd be $15-$20 and NO ONE would buy them.

You think Jakks would just release all these extras and the figures would stay $9.99?? Gimme a break. They'd be $15-$20 and NO ONE would buy them. - Correct scle - Good it dont bother you but for realistic collection scale is a biggish issue. And many people have been saying it for a long time. - JTG's leg - True maybe they might have made one but a cena leg would have been better than nothing. - Taker's arms - Cant say i have a problem with jakks taker either. - Primo - Shelf warmer or not, he was a big part of the tag team scene as part of the 1st ever unified tag champions and was around over a year. If swagger can be made there was NO excuse why primo wasn't. Maybe he would have ended up on whatever shelf of yours that still doesn't mean others didn't want him. - Kane's boots - Correct for jakks version's of boots just too small. - Knee pads ect - Dont really bother me too much what size either. - Torso sizes - Never had a problem if the torso given as been corect or not most of the time so them not been overly musclely aint a problem here. Just my take on things
