Orton, Kane, Khali... Just a few examples of AWESOME head sculpts from Mattel. They're not all perfect, but there are some good ones there.

There's room for improvement in a lot of the heads and other various things, but overall these are the very first few lines here, and I see a ridiculous amount of effort. The basic figures cost $10. That's pretty much the usual price point for RA now. The elites cost $15. DAs are usually between $12-13. So for around the same price we're getting something Jakks almost always lacks - honest to god genuine effort. That is awesome and makes me excited for this line.

The ones you are looking at are production samples not prototypes.
these are what we getting. But I had a long in depth convo with
Mattel's lead designer about this. He was saying just how
hard it was to keep track of what the superstars are doing in terms
of updating their looks. He even said that sometimes things fall
through the cracks and WWE does not even know what the boys
are doing. For example he heard that Edge just got a bunch of new
tats so now he will have to chase him. He said they are doing
their damndest to always chase the guys, for example he cringed
when he saw MVP switched to red, but I told him its really not such a big
deal they will be putting out ONE LINE PER MONTH and an elite EVERY OTHER
MONTH. They will update the outfits. I said. y'know in a couple years you
will look back and see you have a figure of that character from that moment in time. Which is what they are doing anyway. If you look at the PPV
Orton you will see he has his old tats, and the elite he has his updated
tats (which i think look a little undetailed) He was great though, this
is a guy (along with the whole team) who CARE and who are excited
about these They are big fans. We're lucky to get someone who cares about details as much as we do! Excitement was radiating off them. They wanted
all feedback good and bad they are listning guys so post on their
facebook and stuff.

FYI on other questions I heard, Christian (who is the nicest coolest
guy EVER by the way) is Elite as are the rest in that shot. they
seperated the elite with the regular in the display areas.

Sorry for the annoying back and fourth scrolling to read the comments but i
wanted super huge pics so you can see all the detail in these guys, keep in mind
these are BIGGer than actual size depending on your monitor so they might look
better in person. Though I will admit Jakks figures usually pass the up scaling
test so Im sure a lot does have to do with the heads themselves...

They look amazing, cant wait now. Jomo is perfect looking, most detail a figure of him as ever seen, Miz may be outdated but still looks great. Finally a primo and JTG with right leg mold

Christian's scan is better than jakks mean faced one aswell, no point in buying or waiting to see if jakks deliver a good RA44 matt hardy now because his elite figure will be the same attire and will have his entrance attire

Elite HBK's attire looks amazing from the detail can see + his hat and shirt make it a must buy.

I'm liking the look of some of these figures to be honest, although some headscans look a bit dodgy to me.

Am I right in saying they are going to do every wrestler in the Elite line as well as the Superstar line?.

And I'm really digging that Mark Henry.

I'm at the point where I nearly have 300 different figures in my Jakks collection. To me, that's a great variety and a great assortment. I remember last month how much I was loving the new Mattel items. I was bashing Jakks and really getting excited for January to come around. After a few weeks I really felt I was making a mistake. I could just call it quits when Jakks is done and not bother with figures anymore. Looking at these pics (not that I'm bashing you) makes me wanna do that more.

I have a collection that I've built up for many years and I just don't have any real motivation to bother re-starting either. I'm too used to Jakks figures (RA's in particular) to get used to another brand. I think a bunch of the figures look great. Jericho, Orton, Batista, etc., look awesome, but not all of them stand out. The heads look cheap compared to a Jakks figure. I'm not gonna 100 % say I'm calling it quits when Jakks ends, but I might do so looking at things now.

That's how I feel. Some may disagree and feel the need to bash me, but ya know, we all have different things we want to do.
