What is your opinion on him?
Ok, he was an ok wrestler AT BEST... but i gotta admit, he commited to that gimmick at did it excellently...

I will second what you said. He wasn't a very good wrestler, but it was a tremendous gimmick as far as portrayal goes. He didn't hold anything back.

I liked it, but wasn't the biggest fan. I think the potential feuds with Undertaker, Kane, and others would have been great. However i think the push behind him as a heel needed to have been greater.

if he had of been even slightly better in the ring I think this would have been "over like rover" to be honest.
he gace this gimmick every drop of energy he had.but it was all over when he got in the ring.which was a shame

I don't think it was the right era really for the character...they should have had Papa Shango come back and feud with him!

I love gimmick wrestling, so I really liked him. I loved all the gimmicks from the 80's and early 90's WWF.

Like someone said, if he could have delivered in the ring, the sky could of been the limt for him...

I thought he was great, and was not as bad in the ring as some people say. But his match with Booker T at Wrestlemania was kind of weak.
