August 25, 1997 to be exact.
No TitanTron, no King/Vince, no RAW logos/set.
Why? Normally back then when this happened it was because it was taped not in the US or Canada. But they don't seem to mention where it is.
So where was it held? And if it was in America or Canada, why were their none of the things I listed above?
Any help would be appreciated.

Could that have been Friday Night's Main Event? RAW was pre-empted due to either tennis/dog show around that time and for like two weeks they ran Friday shows instead.

They didn't mention it but then again I was watching a UK version and they normally cut out things like that since it used to air on Fridays here anyway. |

Also may I add, it was a piss poor episode. The Truth Commission vs The Headbangers was the main event. Yeah.

I just saw Truth Commission vs Disciples of Apocalypse on RAW, and the announcers didn't even care about the match they were talking about President Clinton all throughout. |
