I know I have seen this posted somewhere before. People have mentioned about how the basic line is not like the Elite figures. When I saw the DC Universe, I noticed how the legs bent in certain directions and not the way the basic assortment looks. My thought was that Mattel was going to be similar to those figures. I am not sure how to post pics to show my point, but if you google the images, you could see what I was talking about.

Yes, true. It's too bad that they didn't do that with the WWE line. Shawn's super kick would have looked sweet. Thanks for the pic info. It helps explain what I meant.

Yeah, you're right. That would have been a sweet addition. We've never had figures that could do a proper superkick (even some DA sculpts were sketchy at best), so it would be nice to have that.

I agree totally. But, you never know down the line what they may do. Sometimes things have to pass until they improve the product more. I guess time will tell for sure. thanks.

I just picked up a Batman from the new series "Superman and Batman - Public Enemies." I would guess the scale could be close to the new WWE figures. But, like I mentioned and the pics above, the articulation this figure has the WWE ones will not. It's a pity. But hey, who remembers when the original G.I. Joe small figures did not have the swivel arm battle grip, but then it was added later? Who knows. Maybe someone could suggest it to Mattel. If I can post a pic of Batman, I will let all know. Thanks.

I regret never getting the BnB Michaels. The 1st one anyway. It had such good detail. Well, maybe down the line the T crotch will make its way to later figures in the basic line.

Why would Mattel give you the T Crotch down the line in the basic assorftment when that's what the Elite assortment is there for, for more articulation / playability as the Elite figs can kick their Legs out sideways, so, we can just get an Elitge HBK for doing S.C.M
Mind, I wouldn't complain if they do put the T Crotch into the basic line though, would be a nice added touch, but, if Mattel can make you buy 2 lines like Jakks did, then I don't see them wanting to give one bit of extra articulation to their Basic line that could take potential buyers away from the Elite line as the selling point of those is being able to do more moves / play with them more.
We can live & hope for the T Crotch though.

Well, it's like I said before. Like when Hasbro did the Gi Joe line standard, then later added the swivel arms. Anything is possible. I think the T crotch would definitely be a great idea. I know what you're saying though about the whole money aspect. Business wise, it make sense to have 2 different styles. But in the same token, it's more practical for the added feature. Anyway, time will tell. I'll keep my fingers crossed as well.

Actually the basic figures are a T-crotch (forward & backward movement) the DCUC have a T-crotch with an added outward hinge to them.
