I don't collect, but these almost make me want to. These are by far, a million times better than anything Jakks every put out. You should all be down on your knees thanking GOd for letting Mattell take over. A HHH that actually looks like HHH. Jakks was NEVER able to do that.

hbk and bourne's arms are really screwed up. lots of cenas, no jeffs. jakks>mattel Jakks are/were excactly the same about that..Took to RA 39 to get jeff in the RA line  even then they didn't make as many of him as one would think they would. |

Not to mention, there is a high possibility of Jeff being in jail soon... I'm not judging him or anything, just saying, Mattel probably doesn't want to release a figure of a possible drug dealer to kids... Wouldn't be the best way to kick off their line. |

Heavily photoshopped. However, the Elite figs look awesome! Don't know about the basics. However the Elite figs are flawless for the most part. And with most of the guys I want coming out within the next few lineups of the Elite Series, I may just get Elites.

I own that jeff proto and its a huge bummer we might not see it fuly painted  |

FYI - I posted some future line-ups on page 24. Also I don't know if we mentioned it previously but some sets will be weighted. Meaning some items will be packed more per case than others. Example: Mattel 2-Packs 1 (case of 6) HBK / Y2J - 3 per case Ted Dibiase / Cody Rhodes - 2 per case Glamerella (Beth Phoenix / Santino) - 1 per case There will be many of these Mattel items available for sale on 1-1-2010 at Ringside. And by the way thank you all for your responses to the new Mattel product line positive or negative. So, NONE of these will even be available for pre-order until AFTER Christmas? That kinda sucks and is going to make me completely re-do my Christmas lists, haha.
Also, looking at series 2 and 3 of the Elite line... they each have 6 figures, per set and series 1 only has 5. Think Mattel will add a 6th figure, for series 1?

The poster who's excited about realistic muscle definition is the reason non-wrestling fans think we're all gay. I shudder to think how excited people around here would be if the toys had nipples and bulges in their trunks. I've continued to think about what we've been shown, and I'm still not ready to jump on the Mattel bandwagon. 1) The headsculpts are poop 50% of the time. 2) They're only going to be making realistic body molds for so long, and then they'll just start reusing parts where they don't belong. 3) They're making so much stuff, even more than Jakks has been in the last year or two. Stores aren't going to keep stocking when half of the items don't sell. 4) The prices are high. 9.99 for basic figs doesn't sound too bad, but keep in mind that stores will be charging more than that to make a profit. Suddenly, the poopty $10 figure become $13, and 15-18, and 20-25. They're not worth that much. 5) Mattel still doesn't have their shipment issues sorted out. Like DC Universe, there's a good chance that these won't be hitting a store near you anytime soon. I dunno if anyone replied to this post man, but Jakks had a suggested retail price for UFC of 9.99 and so far people have found them in TRU for that price..so it could stay there |

I know these are just protos but do you guys think that Mattel will fix the Beth Pheonix fig, her stomach attire looks to be a full top when really it is supposed to be open on the sides.

I'm honestly pretty disappointed at these. I only like Elite MVP, Elite Taker's Body Mold, Basic Big Show, Entrance HBK and HHH, Stone Cold, Beth, and the DX HBK. All the others looks like crap. They're muscles are WAYYY to defined and toned, their body proportions are off, headscans just suck period, as u can see the boots are really short and stubby, and the accessories look cartooney and rediculous. Glad I don't collect anymore cuz these would just piss me off.
