Wouldn't it made more sense for Ziggler to beat Rey...Then brag about doing it and Morrison challange him at "Breaking Point"  or are the going with the whole"you stole my victory Morrison, now you'll PAY !!  " storyline  |

Great move by the wwe. Morrison and ziggler fued could have some great potential.

Their IC champ gets suspended, in the middle of a push for a young guy. Instead of just throwing the belt on Ziggler "just because"
They put it on a guy who deserves it, and can carry it for a little while until Rey gets back. In between time, Ziggler feuds with Morrison (money) and when Rey comes back you have a nice little 3 way feud for said belt....Ziggler ends up winning it in the long run and BAM! new star
This is going to be interesting.

So am I the only person that remembers when Morrison had the IC belt 3 years ago? No, I remember when he was a 2x IC champ in 2006. He was a great champ and had great matches then with Jeff and the other IC challengers. Now he is a: 1x ECW champ 3x IC champ 4x WWE Tag Champ 1x World Tag Champ So that is great for him. Have him stay in the IC ranks til Mania 26 where he should win the MITB and then cash in to become WHC or WWE champ!  |

Some more details:
No pyro and no opening theme.
Video package on Jeff Hardy plays from last week to open, then Jeff Hardy's music hits and the crowd goes crazy, only to find out that its CM Punk. He did the whole entrance complete with pyro and attire (nice touch). Punk then cuts a long promo but is interrupted by Matt Hardy. They brawl and Teddy Long makes a match between them for later.
They announce Mysterio vs. Morrison for the IC title later.
Next Match is Great Khali w/ Runjin Singh and Finlay defeating Mike Knox and Kane. Most of the match was boring and the crowd thought so as well.
We go backstage to a segment with Vince and Teddy, then into a segment with Maria, McCool, Melina, and Eve.
Next match is the IC title bout featuring John Morrison defeating Rey Mysterio to win the IC Title in a fantastic bout. The match went over 20 minutes and was PPV quality, definitely go out of your way to watch this Friday. It had near falls, great spots, Morrison and Mysterio are both very athletic and it showed in this match. Match of the Night by far. Lots of Morrison chants and he got a big pop for his win.
R-Truth comes out next only to be attacked by Drew McIntyre much like last week. Drew cuts a promo.
Eve and Maria defeat Natayla and Layla in a quick but decent womens tag match.
Next was a non title match between CM Punk and Matt Hardy. Match goes over 15 minutes but is interrupted suddenly by the return of the Undertaker. Huge pop for Taker, CM Punk falls victim to a chokeslam through the announce table and Taker does his pose in the ring and on the ramp as well. Great ending segment.
Our Dark Match main event is next and its a Steel Cage Match featuring DX and Legacy.
DX pick up the win in about 12 minutes, it was your typical dark match with H doing his speech he's been doing where Shawn reminds him its a dark match and he thinks its Raw. Crowd ate it up and Triple H and Shawn shake hands with everyone around ringside.
That was it to end a great show all together in Cleveland.
