In a NON-TITLE MATCH...which yeah...they very well could have done for Jeff Hardy and kept Morrison's winning streak going. I highly doubt that anyone besides a few Jeff Hardy fans would have been all emo over Morrison beating him being both are FACES. Your missing the BIG picture- Jeff just won the title 5 days before. Regardless if it was title or none title, Morrison going over Jeff right after winning the title would ruin Jeff's momentum. I am missing nothing...I was giving MY OPINION. To me, I would find Morrison's little streak more believeable if he could beat Jeff Hardy as well in a non-title match. |

You do realize that in the history of wrestling, many champions have lost literally the same week if not the next night. And some have even lost their titles. Also Morrison is being groomed for a big push so keeping a clean streak over world champions like Punk and Hardy would have done wonders for him and actually not stopped any Hardy momentum. |
